Zappadong, (formerly known as Vulkanware), is a small german indie game developer, established in 2011 by Torsten Fock-Herde.
Torsten was born in 1979 and worked as an electrician, van driver, furniture mover, mechanic and hold on your breath:
Game developer.
He´s married and has a daughter, a cat and a turtle. Torsten is experienced in programming, art, 3D modelling and sound effects. His brain was pixelated by the Atari 2600 and Commodore VC-20 in the age of 12. This fought back in 2004 and vaulted him into the wide world of video game industry. So he created "Vulkanware", which was changed into "Zappadong" in 2011. In the last years he worked for various clients. His track record contains three games for the retail market and lots of demos and prototypes, most of them are freeware. He works with various tools, including Flash, Unity, Game Studio, Blender, Gimp, Reaktor and Reaper and does nearly everything on his own, including tieing his shoelaces, which is lots of hard work. Loves good coffee, canoeing and irritating noises.
