Strangely somehow I have a crush on all those oldstyle games or say arcade classics between '82 and '92 of the last century - often art pieces created from the mind of single individuals. As a nine year old, atari worlds of three pixel sprites and jaggy vectors truly were my larger-than-life reality. Disturbingly enough some of that seemingly stuck with me (?)
Else I enjoy fuzzing around with unity-own game mechanics, extensive use of composition or digging out fancy unity-specific hacks. Still a bloody newb. in Unity development itself, I already found it a lovely tool throughout to concern with.
Unfortunately, I have to stand to the truth like a man now, to admit my inability in doing sound and textures yet. Thus, if you're into audio and drawing, let's create the next mega asset together. harhar..!

In bread-and-butter essence this is a playable stick together demo to a spaceship control implementation, much in the tradition of ancient titles like Starglider or anything ending on -Fox or -Wing (can't name it here for copyright reasons).
Helpful as a starterkit and tutorial project for those who are new to Unity Development, and looking for a game with a ground based hover-ship and a little explore-your-world character.
Have a bunch of fun tumbling around, crash and shoot those whistling nervy laserbolds all over. Fully working project and sources included; With this asset I like to give you an inspiration-tool to build on such type of games yourself. Or, why not spin the idea further in a whole other direction ?
