The Blackfire FX team has been making games since the original Sony PlayStation as Environment Artists, Animators, Technical Artists, and of course Visual Effects Artists. We have been involved in the development of games for PC, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Xbox, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 and have titles published by Square Enix, Konami, LucasArts, Atari, Sega, and others. We are now using our experience to assist independent developers in an area which most have very little experience: visual effects.

Blackfire FX provides high quality, low cost visual effects for independent game developers. Instead of spending time struggling to create visual effects, training themselves to learn the methods of creating quality visual effects, teams can spend their time on what they are experts at: making the game.

We understand performance issues, memory costs, flexibility, and provide simple solutions for your project. We create clean, organized assets to maximize your productivity and give you suggestions on how to utilize our assets most efficiently.
