I’m Dennis Bestafka, a musician and composer with a passion for specializing in immersive & interactive soundtracks for video games, as well as film & television. My formal training includes performances in orchestras, ensembles, marching bands and rock bands, with music studies at community college and UC Berekely. In addition to music, I am a seasoned recording engineer, live sound tech, and MIDI arranger. My studio is complete with Pro Tools and Ableton, a vast library of software synths and plugins, and a full rock band compliment of guitars, basses, keyboards and drum kit. I frequently dabble with audio middleware, such as FMOD & Wwise, and their integration into game engines, such as Unity and Unreal, to stay apprised on my communication and collaboration with the development community.
