If your game has cartoon looks then the Cartoon FX 1-4 Remaster bundle is great. You can just pick one of the prefabs to use, maybe tweak the scale/hue etc with the included tool and your game instantly would have a decent level of polish. The dev is very responsive with query as well.

I purchased this in 2014 and I am still getting free updates in 2024!!! You have to admire a developer that has supported a product for that length of time. Also, great visual affects :)

I initially bought this back in 2014 and I have to say, JMO's work is amazing. Great art. Great support. Frequent updates. I recommend this and all JMO products for both beginners and pros alike.

Many developers stop updating after a year, or sell a new version after two to three years. However, this developer keeps updating and remastering after 7 years. This is really rare and tremendous. It's a commendable thing, and this developer's asset is a reliable and safe asset that won't stop updating after years. You can trust and invest. Not a waste of money. p.s : ADD ONLY 2D FX PLEASE !

This asset is such a great purchase. It has a great selection of effects and they are all top notch. I was impressed enough by the author doing brand new recent updates to this day that I had to write a review. Kudos and keep it up!

If you are researching effect packages and you are not sure: Just buy ALL of JMO's in bulk! You won't be disappointed. They have a great long time value (we've bought them back in 2013) and they are still getting some love (Remaster Upgrade, Thank you!).

These effects are easy to use and look great, organized and made into prefabs with a separate folder for mobile device versions, to keep your game optimized and efficient. The developer is really a great guy and helped me with some questions I had, and went out of his way to create a custom material for me too. You won't regret purchasing his assets, highest quality!
