Does not work, i want my money back!

The tool is a great idea, has potential, and works good for creating a mesh. However, there is no documentation, it doesn't work with popular water assets like AQUAS, and there is no source code included- just a DLL. I would like access to source to modify how the mesh is created, perhaps change the UV map, or apply a simple flow map instead of using scrolling textures.

This asset is very usefull to create rivers on the fly without having to use external tool for it, but it has very anoying bug while building the game, it crash the build! Easy fix: Change the position of #if UNITY_EDITOR in the class IRiverTool :)

I think it could do a much better job, but it does work nicely. Like, you'd think water would flow down hill, but this particular shader doesn't use directional flow. Like you should be able to set the direction of the flow at each node, and the speed of flow. Particle effects should help it look better anyhow... It'd be nice if it came with a nicer demo scene.

Great tool and works will in 5.6.0f3. Did notice some old code in one of the scripts, so I took away a star for that.

Just crashes when you try to run it in this version. Save your cash and go elsewhere. One star for a good idea.

. The only thing I could ask for is that when shaping the river I would be awesome to be able to drag and drop a different material to see results in realtime.. it takes a long time to manually import textures and set all the properties when it could take seconds.. I have 3rd party assets that I would like to apply at any time for different scenes. I use the "Realistic Water" textures and shaders Asset and results are photo realistic. I've used this in Unity 5.3.3 with no problems so far.

I'm using latest unity versión, and this tool doesn't work well on it at all. I was trying to make it work for a long time, but is useless. The outcome of the render is not very good, it really doesn't look like a flow of water. Furthermore, the flow of the river move in different directions depending of the camera moving direction. And the worst part is that sometime it just doesn't render anything. I give up and try to find another solution.

A couple of problems make this great tool slightly less great. 1) I had an issue with what order the shader was rendering things in the water in, but I was able to fix that myself with a little tweaking. 2) There is a sharp line through the water that I don't know how to get rid of, follows and rotates with my camera 3) Water does not show up on mobile (tested on iOS 6). Developer did respond to my emails.

Very nice asset, looking really great in game ... however not all functions especially the shore doesn't work in Unity 4.5.3+ (substracted one star) ... contacted the author but with no avail on a fix (substracted another star as support is very poor). If you don't use/want the shore than this is the best river tool available.
