I've been using World Map 2D and it's been fundamental in the development of my game for its graphic quality and simple API. Kronnect's support is fast and attentive and has fully responded when I needed it. Worth the investment!

I'm wondering is it possible to allow circumnavigation in this map, as in both edges of the map are connected? Also is it possible to change the mesh/color of the ocean?

"Map Editor: Build the map you need from inside the Unity Editor (create / modify / reshape / merge countries, provinces, cities ...)" I bought this, but it does not function merge countries. what should I do?

Ich habe mir WPM 2D gekauft, weil ich unbedingt eine Weltkarte für mein Projekt benötige. Zuerst habe ich eine eigene Version erstellt, wobei ich jedoch immer wieder an meine Grenzen stieß. WPM 2D bietet mir eine fertige Weltkarte, bei welcher ich nur noch die Länder, Regionen und Städte so anpassen muss, wie ich es benötige. Einfach Klasse! Es gibt zwar noch hier und da ein paar Fehler, jedoch kurz im Support-Forum angesprochen, schon wird daran gewerkelt und schnellstmöglich ein Update bereit gestellt. Einfach Klasse! World Political Map - 2D Edition empfehle ich mit diesem Support ohne Zweifel weiter. --- (English try:) I bought WPM 2D because I absolutely needed a world map for my project. First I created my own version, but reached often my limits. WPM 2D offers me a ready world map, where I only have to change the countries, regions and cities how I need it. It's huge! There are still a few errors, but one question in the support forum, already they work on it and as soon as possible an update will be provided. It's huge! World political map - 2D Edition I recommend with this support, no doubt.!

I'm mainly using World Map Strategy Kit which is a superset of World Political Map 2D. The asset is of excellent quality and in continuous development. The C# code is neat and easy to follow. There is a decent documentation (that could still be improved). The forum is active and the author responds quickly to questions and suggestions. Not cheap but a great time saver. Worth every penny.

I've had it for several days and keep having the same experience. I'll think to myself, "I wish this tool could do x." Minutes later I discovered they already included that feature, it works better than I dreamed, and it is extremely easy to use. Such quality. I'm beyond impressed. Also I cannot say enough about the quality of the support provided. Everytime I have had a question, the team has responded the same day, often within an hour.

It is what it pretends to be, a 2D world map. It's really easy and convenient to use like the Globe Edition, and the support is perfect. No way you can regret your purchase :)

The author takes a lot of time and effort to update the asset quickly and frequently, and to respond to the requests of its users. The asset itself is also nothing less than the best option on the store if you need this kind of map. It may be a bit pricey, but all things considered, it's also an investment as it keeps being upgraded.

I was looking for a 2D map to visualise live data, and I was expecting to have to program most of the logic myself since my requirements were special – until I found World Political Map 2D. It does everything I need and much more: naturalistic maps or sci-fi outline, ticker tapes with information, highlighting, grouping – it's extremely configurable. Added to that, their support is fantastic. The author updated the code practically instantly. In all, this has already saved me a lot of time, and given me ideas on additional features for my app.
