its really good but had a fog issue with it

I could not get the fog of war to work right, so i asked for help and they helped me with it. i wish my autism included coding or some thing not just creativity :)

not bad but with missing essential functionality which is added in new version

I purchased it in second half 2023 on standard 50% promotion and couple of months later publisher releases new version leaving v1 without essential functionalities like on-screen/off-screen poi.
Upgrade path is expensive as I need to pay again almost 50% of price.
Asset works, but has missing for me essential functionalities. I hoped they will be added as there are even free assets which support them.
So -2 stars for me for missing these two essential features.
Response to developer comment: But I did not purchase it many years ago, but about 5 months before version 2. I did not saw any warnings, that further enhancements for version 1 are stopped and new functionality will be in new v2 - so I feel dissapointed being treated like that. And around 5% upgrade discount is in that cicumstances just kind of joke. It is second asset which I purchased from you and after a couple of months end of enhancements. Sorry for me it is very UNFAIR treatment of customers.

Compass Navigator Pro was released on April 8, 2016. After 8 years of improvements and support, we invested in a new version packed with lot of new features and enhancements.
This new major version, Compass Navigator Pro 2, can be obtained for free if your purchase is less than 3 months old. Otherwise, the upgrade price for existing customers of previous version is just $18. This is the regular setup, not considering any sale as upgrade discounts can't be configured to take into account any sale price but regular price.

works perfectly for dynamic scenes and works out of the box just drag the prefab into the scene and it works I'm using it alongside dungeon architect and it works great you can either update per frame , distance moved , time or call it once after the dungeons generated thru code so it has very little effect on performance

I just bought this to use in my current game and it took minutes to have working in my scene. Its perfect for what I want at the minute and especially love the Points of Interest and beacons for showing and revealing areas in my game!
Well worth the money!

You can get the compass up and running in a minute, extremely simple to set up. The minimap was not performant at all for me, I had 140 FPS with it off and it would drop into the 60's with it on. I've contacted the developer asking for help with this, if they have a solution I will edit the review and bump this to 5 stars.
There are good YouTube tutorials out there to set up pretty much the same thing as this asset, but if you're lazy like me, $35 was worth it.

Perfect Solution For Several Important Game Needs

I'm so thankful that I found this asset. It solved several huge needs for our game. A hidden gem is the mini-map. It is flexible, and allows custom GUI art to be added (matching your mini-map UI to the game). There are many options that give you "location discovery" just like in World of Warcraft. You can even remove the compass background and keep the POI arrows, just like World of Warcraft, which is awesome, since millions of people are familiar with that game mechanic.
And the Kronnekt support is excellent.

Super easy to implement, probably one of the smoothest integrations of compass system assets. It's like 3 clicks to add it to a scene. Lots of customization options and it works like you would expect it to.
The only improvements I'd recommend would be to replace the standard text elements on the compass bar with TextMeshPro for cleaner looking fonts.
Also since it uses a render texture for the Minimap, I would suggest a more conservative update config. I put in some code to skip multiple frames on the LateUpdate and got about 98% of the performance back.
However, those are super minor suggestions, this asset works out of the box and supports HDRP. Couldn't be more pleased with it.
