0 support or up-to-date documents. This has no business being for sale on the asset store. Search for the (free) first person projection matrix shadergraph, for a fast and simple solution.

Works Well - CHANGE FROM 1 STAR TO 5 STAR

UPDATE**** Having to change from 1 star to 5 stars. The documents aren't super great but the asset works as intended now tested and working on Unity 2021.3.22f1. I use HDRP which was a little harder to get, and between the numerous scripts you need to make sure, additional options to select etc, I finally have it going. Now original creator still no longer helps with this, but if you need any help hit me up!

Good,but 2 problems

Thank you for your production. This is an excellent plug-in. It can even be said that it fills up the functions that Unity should have.Let Unity have the most basic function of making FPS games-other engines have such functions in the era of CS: Source,But it also has 2 problems 1.Can there be no Self-Shadow for the FPV model, such as the shadow of the gun to the hand.I think the developers who are willing to use this plug-in are those who want to make excellent FPS games. They should also notice this and hope to improve it. 2.In fact, Unity’s most perfect PBR material is "Autodesk Interactive" (previously called Roughness), which has all PBR texture channels. Hope your Shader can support this material.

Great Solution for HDRP

I have been using First Person View since the early stages of Version 2. FPV 3 is as good as previos versions but with HDRP support which is great because of the lacking support of camera stacking. Very easy to integrate in existing first person systems. Thanks for this awesome asset.

After replacing the built-in shaders with the custom ones some post-processing features like motion blur started to bug. I'm using the newest stable Unity version (2018.3) but the packages containing the shaders in this asset only reach out to 2018.1. I'm also using the newest version of the post-processing stack from the package manager.

The solution to FP model rendering

I bought this asset because I was cracking my head with shaders in order to have the shadows affect my FP model. I had to tweak a few things in order to integrate it to my project and the initial setup worked pretty good. Now, the only reason I did not give this 5 stars was because I had a huge issue with some glowing shaders rendering on top of just the FP model, I tried contacting the dev but sadly they didn't respond. I managed to get it working but not after messing around for half a week, so I don't know, I grabbed this asset to save time and I guess it would have been the same if I had sought out another solution. It's still a pretty good asset and I do recommend it if you're not into coding shaders (I know I'm not).

Excellent Solution

Super Great Shader Solution for twin camera issues in First Person Shooters, the only issues are: 1. the author sucks for not making this great asset more visible at the beginning of my project! ,IDK put fireworks around it with a big brass band or something :) 2. would it not be better to use UnityObjectToClipPos, and UnityObjectToViewPos in shader code UnityInstancing for better performance and less chance of z buffer fighting with depth and shadow caster passes! ( don't be mislead here, it’s performance is outstanding and it's just me being fussy and as example my fps game went from 700 fps to just over 900 fps (~30+%) after using this so it definitely improves performance over the twin camera, z buffer (depth) and multi culling layer solutions that still need their own shaders done to incorporate world lighting ect... ) But seriously from using this asset for just over 4 hours I think its almost on the level as the invention of sliced bread, a definite for anyone developing a serious FPS titles, and at a super great price. Last thing can't really comment on support as I did not need them I just read the instructions, so far so good. Thanks guys for a great asset, five stars

This issue was really giving me a lot of trouble. Glad I don't have to fix it myself. I can spend my time working on my game!
