It has pretty much everything that you need to make your mechanics and the game feel is really good. You can go from tactical to momentum, just by changing settings. More importantly, the dev is easy to get in touch with and is constantly improving the features.

This asset is truly amazing and really worth the price. It supports everything you need to create or kickstart your FPS game. But what really makes this a game changer is the support. The devs really cares about your problems and help you find a solution. The community is also very supportive. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Well documented, Easy to implement and use with multiple demonstrations. Assest support is incredible with responses to questions no later then 24 hours. If you are looking for a start point to FPS Unity development, you couldn't pick anything better.

What sets FPS Engine apart from most of the others? I have tried pretty much every third and first person controller on the asset store. They all talk a good sales pitch, but I ALWAYS click through to their video tutorials. and when I find they are all 5 or 8 years old... I walk away. Buy FPS Engine and FPS Inventory Pro instead! Well made, with excellent documentation, demos and tutorials. I will save myself a lot of time in 2026 by using FPS Engine and Inventory Pro for my next game release on steam (Mikey Makes Games).

The asset itself is amazing, and the support is outstanding. Even if you’re not making a shooting game, you need this asset! 😄 I can’t explain how good it is and how incredible the support team is.

perfect for more bang bang

Have been working on a controller for two weeks now and remembered I had this on in my assets, gave it a spin and this thing just works. It’s put together in a way that makes sense and the price is super low for such quality. So I got the adds on as well and now I can concentrate on the game.

With over 1,000 assets purchased from the Asset Store, FPS Engine is easily one of the best. Here's why: 1) Support, support, support. Some of the products on the Asset Store have little to zero support after they a couple of months. If you buy this product, join the Discord. DUOW is available more than anyone. They are constantly helping people on not just their product, but usually on integrations with other products! 2) Always listening. Again, this is something that, aside from a lot of the more popular products, I find that a lot of developers don't do. The developer for FPS Engine has a roadmap, but is also constantly listening to feedback and for features from those that are providing constructive comments in the Discord. If it makes sense, it's usually added to the roadmap. 3) Ease of Integration. Whether I am prototyping or want to include FPS Engine into a project, you can import it and use it with a lot of other products on the Asset Store with minimal repercussions. Use Emerald AI or Blaze AI? FIMPossible Creations products? Runtime Spawner? Dialogue System? Custom code? So far I haven't ran into issues that I couldn't get resolved. I love the compartmentalization of the product more than anything. 4) Documentation. The docs are kept up to date and there are plenty of video-based tutorials. The only thing that is a bit different from other FPS systems is how the arms and weapons are integrated but there are links to tutorials on the Discord channel to Vimeo videos. If you are new to Unity, or just want to get the basics of a first-person player controller in place as soon as possible, this should be on your short list. Until something new hits that provides the flexibility with the same level of ease of use, this will be my go-to.

Much better than I expected. I've acquired other similar assets, but this one helped me the most in developing an FPS game.
