Render pipeline compatibility
The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. The Universal Render Pipeline (URP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that is quick and easy to customize, and lets you create optimized graphics across a wide range of platforms. The High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that lets you create cutting-edge, high-fidelity graphics on high-end platforms.

Description

Welcome to the Factory Framework, the easiest tool to jumpstart a factory sim. Full access to the source code and a fully-playable demo scene will bootstrap your project with highly customizable items, manufacturing recipes, and multiple building types at your disposal.


2024 Optimization Update

Completely overhauled the conveyor belts, pathing systems, and save functionality to be more streamlined. This does have the effect of making previous saves incompatible so PLEASE back up your projects before upgrading.

Smart Conveyors

The conveyors are highly configurable via global settings. Change the turning radius, minimum item spacing, textures, or even the solver used to create the path. The Solver type can be segment (linear), splines, or smart paths.


Easy-to-use Custom Editors

Utilizing the new UI Elements system, the Item and recipe editors will allow you to add in your own items to the template without ever touching any code. Drag and drop icons, prefabs, and specify settings all within the inspector.


Future Roadmap:

The Factory Framework will continue to be updated as much as possible. When you buy now, you will, of course, get all future updates for free.

Future updates will likely include:
