▶️ Building Placer

A powerful system that handles all construction mechanics in Unity, whether in the Editor or during gameplay. It offers three main building modes:

  • Placement: Add new objects.
  • Destruction: Remove objects.
  • Editing: Modify existing objects.

You can switch between these modes using customizable shortcuts or the built-in Circular Building Menu. It works with different 3D camera views, including first-person, third-person, top-down, isometric, and even VR/XR.


▶️ Building Area

Defines where objects can be placed, edited, or destroyed. You can shape these areas in two ways:

  • Spherical: A circular range around a point.
  • Bounds: A box-like region with set size and position.

▶️ Building Part

Each object that can be placed, destroyed, or edited needs this component.
Customize preview color, material, animations, movement (grid/smooth), rotation, snapping, and placement limits. Use different visual styles for the same object without duplicating settings. Set conditions for placement:

  • Physics: Adds stability and makes objects fall if not supported.
  • Collisions: Choose which objects can or can’t collide.
  • Terrain: Trees detection and removes grass when placing objects.
  • NavMesh: Ensures AI avoids obstacles like walls and barriers.

▶️ Building Socket

Allows objects to snap into position automatically. Supports different object types per socket for efficient and accurate placement.


▶️ Building Manager

Keeps track of all building parts in a scene. It optimizes performance by loading only what’s needed and managing draw calls based on the camera's perspective.


▶️ Building Saver

Saves and loads placed objects per scene using JSON files. Each scene has its own independent save file.


▶️ User-friendly Editors

Includes easy-to-use tools to simplify setup and adjustments:
Real-time previews for socket placements.
Advanced physics & collision tools for smooth scene integration.
