This is the best procedural city asset in the store right now. Not too hard to edit and add your own buildings. The worst issue as for me is that buildings are organized a bit differently - half of them are merged with the ground base, half not. This gives you a lot of extra work if you want to use navmesh for the whole map, for example, or if you want to fade buildings. Can't come up with one solution because their structure is different. Overall a great asset, thank you!

Really great procedural city generator, runtime or anytime

Gives you every thing you need procedural city wise to get started for a game. Includes lighting, traffic systems, etc. But if you have a vision then you're going to have to do or use the hard work of artists and designers. Depends on your vision.

Not easy to add on to.

For 300 bucks the textures suck it feels lifeless and is very hard to expand with how they have it set up.

Using a texture atlas may make customization more complex, but it is essential for performance, especially in large open-world cities.
You can edit the Atlas-1.tga and Roads.tga files to replace textures.

Thank you for the feedback. I've already replied to your question via email. To enable nighttime lighting for manually added street blocks, simply name the object where the blocks and roads are located 'City-Maker.'

not for HDRP or close-ups

Calling this compatible with HDRP is a bit deceptive -- it technically works but does not look good up close.
It should be fine for overhead games with the camera a bit further away, but at the street or sidewalk level the texture resolution is just too low and the normals look particularly odd.
Not recommended for VR without significant modification.
The documentation is light as others have noted, but the scripts themselves seem fairly straightforward. A fair amount of flexibility seems to have been traded away for ease of use (not really compatible with terrain modification tools or other systems, even Unity ones, such as splines). The included traffic system is also pretty buggy, with no apparent following of traffic lights.
Overall, a pretty solid asset, but maybe a bit overpriced for the quality of the textures and systems. I'm hoping some of these issues might be addressed in future releases.

About the quality texture, we recommend deselecting the "Override for Android" option for all textures in the package (FCG's "Textures" Folder) to ensure quality across all platforms. Visuals should align with what you see in our tutorial videos (especially at 1080p resolution) and provided screenshots.
Regarding the traffic issue you mentioned, this shouldn't be happening. In this case, I suggest conducting a test: Create a new project and import the package into it. This should fix it.
