Looks great but there are STILL scaling issues

A fantastic looking kit, but even with the new "On_Grid_Assets" folder, the assets aren't perfectly on the grid!!! For instance some of the floor panels which should be 4 units long are approximately 3.36 units. These assets really need to be fixed properly.

Update 3/2/2019: Apologies for the delay. I have been busy working on other things. Will give a proper review to this asset soon once I've had a chance to fully test it out again. But after back and forth with the developer and new updates coming out to resolve the main issues with the kit, I'm bumping this back up to 5 stars for the effort he's putting in.

It took me time but the update is ready. Last year was ... complicate for me and I couldn't work on it.
I hope that now with all on grid your opinion of the kit improves.

If you want to build a sci-fi based game this asset is the right choice for you.
It comes with alot of AAA quality models and you can use these to build your own prefabs. The amount of different models is amazing and you even have more possibilities by building your own prefabs with the content delivered by this package.
If you have any problems with to high tris/vert calls:
1) Try to use an occlusion map.
2) Remove the lights from the prefabs and setup your own lights. (maybe baked)
3) Decrease the renderer range of your main camera (default: 1000, recommended: 100).

Comparing to other Level asset packs in UAS it has higher quality & usability. Plus, it gets updated unlike vast majority of them. One of only two large packs on UAS I could recommend.
Many props, many variants, examples - everything is good.
One thing I would like is some hierarchy in rooms, like _RoomMedium -> _Floor, _Ceiling, _Walls1, as of now I had to create them so it would be easier to edit and allow to create Colliders (only onee for all floor tiles, for example), as high quality of the asset (like in AA/AAA games) means it's a little taxing on resources of player's PC, for typical indie game.

Visually, the asset lives up to the videos and screenshots. The scene used to create the videos is all there and fully constructed for you already. It looks great.
*However*, you should understand that as a kit there are some fairly serious issues:
- It doesn't snap together like you may expect from a kit. So creating your own levels from the kit pieces is going to take a lot longer than you may think.
- None of the lighting in the example scene is baked or even ready to bake. Lights are set mainly to realtime or mixed. A few are haphazardly set to baked with seemingly no rhyme or reason. As shipped, the asset has no hope of running on anything but a high end PC ... forget consoles, mobile or even mid-range PC unless you invest the time to fix the lighting
- Some spot lights are named "point light", as I assume they were changed to spot after being created as point
- Scaling on many assets in the demo scene is all over the place. Some are scaled to 1, but many are clearly hand scaled to fit together (again ... this is not a snap together kit)
- In many cases, physics are done with mesh colliders and the meshes are not at all optimized for this. Expect to spend time building your own collision geometry if you have any serious performance requirements in this area
- Some assets have mesh filters with missing meshes. This isn't a big deal, until you try to optimize them with mesh baker and you are forced to dig through the prefabs and find them
Visually I give it 5 stars, but it's a long way from living up to something a serious level designer would consider a decent "kit". Nevertheless, you are getting a great deal considering the visual fidelity and what you are paying.
