I regret spending money on this. Not worth the price at all. It only applied fog to the object you assign the shader too, so disappointing considering how expensive it is compared to other shaders.
I also regret not reading the other negative reviews before making this purchase.

Sorry to hear you are having issues in using the pack.
You don't have to regret anything, if you are not happy with the tool, we will happily issue a refund.
This fog shader is actually the most versatile fog shader one the store, you can apply it to one or a group of objects. This is done one purpose so you have full control over the fog intensity in different areas of your scene. For example if you have a level with some verticality in it, like multiple stories or ascending stairs, having 1 control for the fog in that case is completely useless since it will just end after a certain level. Not to mention that the this shader is one of the most light shaders with minimal CPU and GPU footprint.

Its cool for very specific use cases, but not quite suitable for general use i would say. It doesnt seem to work with terrain meshes.
Also it needs to be applied on each object individually, which makes it impossible to combine with any other custom shader / texture

Thanks for reaching out.
The fog shader should work with any object in your scene.
Applying it to different objects in your scene will give you a flexibility that a general scene fog won't be able to give you, it simply gives you maximum control over the look of your scene.
You could use the shader with any texture you want but of course if you have your own scripted custom shader you will have to add the fog functionality in the shader itself, we offer the fog in the Unity standard shader so everyone could use it.

Asset does not work as advertised. Errors on install and does not function even after resolving the errors.

I use this in my projects to visually integrate assets into the environment. It's easy to make really beautiful color transitions - have models blend into the grass or water they are standing in. It is incredibly performant and easy to use.
Even better- the polybox team helped me work through issues with really fast turn around times. Even sent me fixes and updates to help me with my project. They rock!
PS. you should also check out their other assets- their low poly rocks scenes and vista packs really taught me a lot about lighting/composition. Really beautiful assets.

Can I get a refund?

This asset says it is very versatile, but after buying it I found that it is just a shader that has a fog effect.
What I needed was a fog that would work in my scene with the same versatility as the standard Unity fod (i.e. can work with any material even custom ones from other packages). As such I cannot use this in my project (and I already had a shader that would do this).

Thanks for reaching out, this shader is pretty versatile and you can apply it to any material you want.
It works with the Unity standard material as you can see in the screenshots, you just have to select "polybox_standard" to activate the fog.
