It's pretty good, but it doesn't support URP.

WcodeUnityZyon version 2.1.14
Hopefully it will support URP in the future, otherwise such great resources might not meet the needs of most people.

Waste of time

stu-349608on version 2.1.14
Used for a project, cannot recommend.
- Lots of documentation is missing (last updated 2016)
- The documentation that is there is often incorrect
- UIs are very glitchy and I have had to disable custom editors to set up SUIMINO objects
- Floating objects are very glitchy
Ended up just using it as the background water effect and writing the simulation myself.

Sadly It works on built in shaders and is not usable right now

Binitpyroon version 2.1.14
It's a great asset, but only works if you switch from HDRP and URP to built-in in as such unusable. If an update does come fixing it, no doubt, it would be an excellent tool.

It is really nice, but i've stumbled on an issue where the water is fully transparent, the tutorials out there don't explain ANYTHING.

Just_someone_on version 2.1.14
I think preview is fake... Just save up money for CREST water system. Yeah water look normally, but not good.
There is no normal interaction with water.

Still works somewhat in BRP before Unity 2022+.
I honestly love the demoscene. That's the biggest part of this that stands out. It provides a full character demo with water interaction, including splashes and swimming. This demo could easily be the start to an indie game project. Definitely worth a look.
However, this kit does not compete well with newer water kits. It doesn't do underwater rendering well compared to the newer stuff. The standard nowadays is to have split rendering for the transition between underwater and out of water. I also see a lot more flow and distortion effects nowadays. Some water kits are their own voxel engines!
For its time, Suimono was great, but the dev just couldn't stay competitive and ultimately gave up on the project entirely. It has not received an update in over 4 years, and updates before then were minimal for a while. If you're working with an old version of Unity, this may still have a use, but if you're working with HDRP or URP (the new standard) at all, definitely look elsewhere.
