Don't download if you have progress in your scene and didn't back up

Was making a vrchat world and decided to add this asset to make it prettier, but once I downloaded it updated the scene and I lost EVERYTHING. And since I didn't do a backup of it, it's all lost and had to start from 0
I don't know if this works or not, but let this be a warning

Hi, sorry to hear you had this strange issue. I never heard of something like that happening before. Are you sure it was caused by SpriteLights?

Excellent but complicated asset

***Review Update***
This asset is actually a bit easier to use than I first thought.
After taking a 2nd look at the manual and some examples on the forum I was able to build a quick script which would take the positions of specific tag empty game objects and then build the sprite light mesh on the fly.
This does give you a basic drag and drop method of adding the lights.
Top stuff!
***Old Review***
I thought I'd give this a try to replace some of the landing lights on a runway. Unfortunately it is not as easy as dragging and dropping lights into the unity editor. It seems everything must be done via code which just isn't for me at this moment in time.
However, the demo is incredible so if you have the time to dedicate to scripting your lights into the scene then this is an incredible asset and even more so as it is free!

True, doing anything useful requires coding. I will add a drag and drop solution for the runway including setting parameters to the to do list.

This is a truly amazing asset package, even more so given that it is free! It runs incredibly smoothly, displaying more light "objects" on screen than I could ever have anticipated due to its smart approach.

Very good asset, cool realisation.
There is only one thing curious, in Unity 2018.3 I got the error "FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format." on the line 235 of the RunwayLights script.
It may come from the reading of the SVG files, when there is "." for decimal where "," should be used.

I had a look but I did not get this error. Perhaps it is caused by a specific build platform? Can you post some details on the forum, as the review section is not really suitable for support.

I really want to use this for my flight sim, but when I install the Post-Processing stack I get this error and another: error CS0117: `UnityEngine.Rendering.PostProcessing.ShaderIDs' does not contain a definition for `Distortion_CenterScale'
Any ideas how to fix it?

Did you use the post processing stack V1 or V2? Can we continue this conversation on the forum thread instead? It is easier to help you there.

Oftentimes, when you download a free asset off the asset store, you don't expect much of it, if anything. This asset, however, is something special. It looks great, doesn't impact your game's performance, and is even being updated.
The author could have easily charged us for it, but didn't. Appreciate this folks, because quality assets like this, are rarely free. Thank you, kind sir.
