there is a script called "ShootOnClick" which generates a projectile on click.
you'll need to replace the click part with whatever touch system you plan on using (i think unity has a built in one), and instead of generating a projectile generate a shockwave.
I hope this helped.
I attached "ShockWave.cs" to "GameObject" and set the camera and material. But nothing worked. What should I do?
I was able to experience the demo.

Here are a few steps to get you in the right direction.
1. Look at the demo and see if there is something your missing.
2. Read the readme file
3. Contact the developer...he usually gets back to people in 24 hours.

Had to significantly rewrite the code, since it's hardcoded to use Camera.main, rather than allowing the user the option to pass in the camera he wants the effect to use.

I think it's a very fair price as the effect is cool, highly adjustable, and the code is clean and well documented. My only issue is that without altering any scripts, this effect can only be used with the main camera. (I had a second camera for a fly through in one of my levels and was unable to use this effect on it).
In Shockwave.cs, there's something like 10 references to Camera.main which don't work if the main camera is disabled. It probably wouldn't take much work to modify the script to accept a gameobject/camera parameter rather than assuming the main cam will be used. I think with that, this asset would be very robust. But overall, it's a pretty minor hiccup in an otherwise great product. Cheers to the dev!

I will look into your suggestions, and update it!
+ added an override to ShockWave.Get() to allow users to pass in a camera, and i modified the ShockWave.cs to only have one camera reference.

Nice shockwave effect

Very nice shockwave distortion effect. I've used it in a couple of assets and it really adds some nice pop and pizazz. The recent addition of world space shockwaves gives you some extra control over how you want to manage the effect compared to the prior option of full screen effect only. Really dig it.
I've contacted the author multiple times and he has been courteous and helpful. Very cheap way to add polish!

It's clean and simple, but still beautiful. It's mostly shader works, so it can be customized. The creator also very responsive, too. But, too many ShockWaves or usage with many effects can slow down the performance in mobile device.

Dead Simple Shockwaves

I wanted a simple way to add in a shockwave to my game with a little bit of customizability. This does that no problem. It's a simple, functional package. The documentation is likewise usable, with clear descriptions of how to use the shader and what the parameters do. In no time I had some cool, customized shockwave effects in my game. Thanks for the awesome effect!
