Great animations, really good for Sci-Fi games. The objects make your games so much more interesting than boring static primitives.

Mesmerizing!

Ezzemoon version 1.7
It is very customisable and beautiful to look at. I couldn't decide which animation I liked best so I built a class that would transition animations by blending them in realtime and I added it to my game. Now I can swap the effects as well as modify their parameters. You can see it at: https://wave-engines.com/starfall It plays really well in Meta Quest VR. Thank you so much for this!

xeosDon version 1.7
You really need bloom for these to look good, but they definitely do with the right rendering setup. My big complaint is they run on an invariant loop so if it's visible for a while (or if there are multiple in a scene) it really starts to become obvious they are all in sync and non-random. Indeed, this becomes a real problem in my game, where 100 or so are simultaneously visible. Shockingly little performance drop, I might add. But having them all deform in lock step doesn't look great. The documentation is really spartan, just a single page listing what folders there are.

Thank you for the feedback—it makes perfect sense! I’ll definitely work on making the loop less obvious by introducing some variation or random offsets. You’re right; seeing multiple instances perfectly in sync can really break the illusion, especially with so many visible at once. Appreciate you pointing this out!

rizawerxon version 1.7
to be honest, i do believe this is a wonderful to watch...but after i dig in to find how i could apply in my own 3d mesh using lightwave 3d, well, things are not pretty anymore...author explained it should be use houdini...no chance i learn another 3d software...it should be stated that custom mesh should be made using houdini...

Hello, I'm so sorry for any confusion! I just wanted to clarify that the asset description refers to an FX Shapes Pack, so the pack already includes the shapes. Regarding the Houdini side, after some users tried the pack and loved it, they reached out to me because they were curious about how they could use more shapes and wanted to create their own meshes that could support the shader. Because of this interest, I decided to take the time to prepare and share my setup (I use Houdini) that allows them to do that outside of this pack. This setup is meant for those who want to create their own shapes. (And by the way, the workflow is very easy - I made a video for it because I know not everyone is a Houdini user.) Thank you for your feedback and for using the pack!

Great visuals and performance

CorrosiveCatzon previous version 1.55
These shader effects are just stunning to look at, very customizable, and unexpectedly performant. Hardly noticed any FPS difference when using the shader, which is incredible given the visual artistry going on. The author has even released a YT showing how to make more shapes/FX with custom models via Houdini, which I may dive into at some point. Great asset, awesome job!

Not compatible with URP ?
nowereginaldon previous version 1.45
It's not compatible with URP ? i m trying to upgrade the materials but it's still pink. you write : RP Support : SRP / URP / HDRP ! what about documentation ? ok, found it in the other reviews.. " So for the RenderPiplines , you have a UnityPackage in the shader folder, you have juste te remove the defautl shader , then export the right Unity Package (URP / HDRP).this should fix it. " Well...i suggest to the author to put these informations into the documentation
