The stacked pfx sequence don't have a huge amount of layered effects like other on the store, but the bloom is amazing, even if it's hard to handle, the effect is almost simmilar to volumetric lights...
The framerate is also something wesome until nowadays (Unity2019.1) compared to other alternatives trying to stack bloom + tonemapping + LUTs for color correction and DOF ...
The problem is that you may spend hours trying to handle the bloom, depth of field and the camera lens due to it's intent of trying to realistically mimic camera lens ...
The result IS NOT something sharpen and bright as the Beautify stacked pfx, they're almost THE OPPOSITE, the scene lighting ends with a gloomy and misty mood...
It's hard to manage the brightness / exposure of the final render without always returning to your Bloom, Depth of Field, Exposure adaptation and Camera lens parameters because there's no threshold on the Bloom effect...
There's also a lack of other stacked effects like ambient occlusion, anti aliasing, sharpness, color wheels and many more that got commom nowadays on many of the stacked pfx on the Asset store...
This asset is sadly outdated and completely discontinued...

Scion is a great post-processing script. Recommend.

Hey there ! Just a 2 cents.
I had look at many different post-prod scripts, and I tried a few and yet to try this one. I am happy I did, it is the one the better ones and with many dials. Scion is the total package when you wish to obtain AAA image quality to your game. I must say that its strongest point is its incredible Tonemapper, with many variables in this (including ISO/Film Aperture/how much light entry from len obturation; just like a film camera len); it has everything from flares, blur, a beautiful DOF (depth of field) effect that adds that very CGI/AAA look, very filmic look (emulating shallow filmic camera lens DOF) where objecst in the background are blurred and as you look to foreground objects because sharp and visible; creating a 3D depth popping effect. This is something you have to decide to add or not to your game; DOF can be good or bad in a video game depending on the type of game/context. If you make a story like game with very fixed-angles cameras that don't move too much and your whole game is a 'Cinematic movie-like' experience; it lends well (just like in a real movie). But if your game is more of a shooter FPS where we must seel Clearly, then no it is counter-intuitive and removes 'visual reading' by making things blurry and you only 'focus' on where the camera decides to focus (the sharp part..while the blurred parts you can't make anthing of them (like for example anything in the bg is blurred, you can also focus 'near'), too blurred). There is also bloom effect, grain (a very nice filmic grain that looks very 35mm pellicule of film), contrast, color boost, Chromatic Aberration/lens barreling, LUT reading and a few others. In my case, I only ended up using 1 or 2 because stack gets heavy and at a certain point it is quality vs perfomance problem again (you can only put so many post-prod scripts/GPU is overworked, until it becomes choppy game frame rate (non playable slideshow)). This is still the best post processing package. Escpecially the bloom is lightyears ahead of Unity's post processing attempt. Unfortunately Scion is not updated anymore so it is only a matter of time before it becomes broken byond repair.

I love this. This ( together with beautify and hbao) was one of the best investitions I made. Simple and highly effective. Put this on your cam and you're ready to show the UE-Corner that Unity can do it too. It simply transforms the visual quality to a much higher degree. Thank you very much for offering this High-Quality-Plugin. I absolutely love it.

While it arguably does a great job and may give a good result with good performance, it's almost impossible to tweak as changing values at runtime does nothing. You have to start and stop your game for any change you try and it could honestly take weeks to tweak properly.
Also, they have a third-party inspector asset inbeded in it which use the ultra-generic "Inspector" namespace. Of course, this had to collide with our own inspector namespace. That should have been called ScionInspector or something unique.
We are really considering dumping this post-effect because of the time it would take us to tweak it.
Finally, be really careful, there is no answer to our mail asking questions. Support appears to be dead for this asset.
This review will be changed if we ever get answers.

So if you want to simulate a realistic camera lens approach this asset might be valuable to you. If not you might stick with your current post fx stack - I definitely expected something else. It's not bad or anything it's only that it has a certain approach that might not fit your project or help you achieve the right look.
The thing that really put me off was the dev not answering any of my two emails at all after. IMHO you can't offer a "professional" product and not answer you customer questions.
