Looks really bad in unity and no support from asset store or artist. Bad experience.

Купил в надежде на нормальный шейдер, по итогу чел просто сделал переливание с выбором цвета и альфа клиппинг, который есть обычном лит шейдере. Волосы все время почему-то черные, хотя я закинул белую base мапу. Самые бессмысленно потраченные 8 долларов

This is one of my go-to assets I really didn't expect it to work out of the box but it did.
Scriptable Render Pipeline has been a Journey that I decided NOT to undertake and I've been using Builtin until now Unity 6000 and This asset works

I have tried several solutions that got eventually deprecated and that didnt look as good as I would like, then I found this hidden gem, started messing around and the results are outstanding!
Combine this with a hair movement simulation like MagicaCloth2 and you are ready to go!
Just a little heads up: Make sure your main texture has alpha in all those parts that are not hair (because of course they have to be transparent). If your source textures do come separated (for example, one albedo texture and one alpha texture) just open them in an image manipulation program such as Gimp and combine them using masks, export to PNG and set it up in the shader! (this was my case).
I also want to mention that the shader has good performance, solves the alpha sorting correctly and responds nicely to realtime lighting (the hair is lit on day and dark on night).
Finally, if you use URP like me just delete the shaders for builtin so you dont get import issues, otherwise the shader name will be duplicated in the shader dropdown list when you are creating a material.
I hope we get more updates to this and new features as strand simulation, if the developer adds that then there would be no other shader in the asset store as good as this one!

Can you tell me if there are any error messages? Because there are two implementations for shaders, BuiltIn and URP, I suspect it might be recognizing the BuiltIn code instead of the URP.
I bought this product today to use for Zepeto. However, I confirmed that this product does not work properly in Unity 2020.3.9 version for Zepeto. When I send the result made using this product to Zepeto Studio, there is a problem that the alpha channel is not processed transparently and remains gray. By any chance, could you please help me with this problem?

Because I wrote the built-in pipeline and URP in the same shader, you can right-click on the shader to re import and try to see whether the problem of error reporting can be solved (sometimes because of this bug)

I've been mucking with so many shaders in the tedious quest to find something on hair from Daz3D that can make it look like...well, hair.. Thus far, it's been chunky chonky hair or half-transparent messes.
I've been using this Hair shader for less than 20 minutes and for the first time ever, multiple hair props from Daz finally look like hair! Thank you so much! I've been searching for this shader for a long, long time. You're a life-saver.

This Hair Shader works really well with various existing hair mesh - it makes the hair of the imported characters designed by external specialised software/workflow highly usable (including Reallusion Character Creator 3)!
