Good asset, but poor support

Asset is quite good, but there is no contact with author, he doesn't answer emails even refund request.

Single pass, and high quality.

There are some other, cheaper car solutions out there that get an almost-as-good result for a lot less money, but this one gets a better result if you're really looking for something very high-end. You don't need DX11 to run these.

Thank you so much! Yes of course there are always cheaper solutions on the AssetStore, but we aim only for highest quality. If you're looking for product which is constantly supported with well described documentation - this is product for you. Yes that's true we're going to change DX11 Category in next update. It works also with DX9, OpenGL, Metal & other cross language platforms.

upgrade to pro version link doesn't work

there's a link to upgrade to pro version in the description. When I click it it's just a broken link. Might be worth explaining if you are shipping a new version or something in the future. I've purchased this for a mobile car paint shader. I appriciate a demo scene but the image effects are mostly not appropriate for mobile usage and are a hassle to delete from all the difference places they are dropped into the project upon import. (they are also out of date and superceded by the single-stack cinematic one in unity 5.5). I think this would be a better product if you focused on mobile and excluded the image effects. Perhaps make another seperate product for directX11 or desktop etc?

Thanks for review! Regarding upgrade. We've tested it several times and everything works perfect. If you will still experience this issues please contact with us at beffio.com/contact We've test those shaders on mobile even with Image Effect and on middle class iPad there is 60fps. Of course we know that Image Effect can have some problems on older devices that's why in next update we're going to add few examples with low-end mobile devices.

Doesn't work with an existing texture, and no response or support in 10 days

I purchased this asset, and was hoping to use my existing vehicle texture, and just be able to change the shader. But this is not the case, it doesn't seem to support using existing textures. I contacted the asset author on 4 June, it is now 13 June and I've had no response.

Hi there, We've send to you e-mail some time ago how to use our shader with simple texture. We've tested your issue with latest version of Unity and it looks like it works really well with any shader and any texture. Hi MapMan, Thanks for feedback. We're sorry about that. We had some personal problems in last month. If you still need help just contact me again. We'll try to fix your problem with UV's. Actually each element on this car is correctly UV mapped so if you want some custom UV mapping you have to do it from scratch. beffio team

Actually after detailed look and many testing builds the problem was not the high poly model performance was affected by many postprocessing effects that was attached to the camera after removing all of them the FPS jumps to 60 and the shaders are very nice on mobile

Hi there, Thanks for feedback. Shader is really well optimized and it works with 60 fps on mobiles. But as we said before our Car model is model for high-end car visualizations. It has something around 300k triangles so if you want to have 60fps on mobiles you should put our shader on more optimized Car Model. beffio team
