I'm having trouble using the software to split my FBX model. It's a geometry model with materials applied, and the program can not process the division well.

Thank you for the review, but it gives me no hint what exactly has gone wrong with your geometry model. The asset description gives no promise it would work on any model, but only on those with closed meshes. If you give me more details or send me the model or a mock-up of it, I could check it in more details.

Excellent asset that does the job well.
Thanks to the developer who ensures a very good follow-up and who was able to quickly troubleshoot a bug that was a problem on a previous version.
Some cutting options are very interesting and playful.
This asset is essential to show objects or buildings in editable sections in real time.

Great thanks for the review, for letting me know about the bug - and apologies for any inconveniences it has caused.
Shader works great! The webGL demos are pretty much exactly what it will do in your scene.
On top of that, the publisher is very helpful and polite. Definitely worth a go if you need a cross section shader.

This is a great solution which does exactly what you expect from the advertising. Excellent fast shaders set focused on getting good looking sections. Auto Render Pipe Loader and Auto Material Update features are lifesavers!
It is not something out-of-the-box though as you would need to invest time to make this asset work best for your project. But it is totally worth the efforts!
The manual is detailed enough but oriented around the demo scenes. I would rather have preferred start-from-scratch manual or video tutorial. But I got aroung the problem by following the instructions and looking inside the scripts' functionality (yes, there are detailed comments!). With this knowledge it would be easy then for transfer many scripts to MVC architecture rather than create multiple GameObjects.
I would like to see more products from the seller in the Asset Store in the future. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your positive review.
The demo scenes contain a number of different setups, so it might be difficult to make a start from scratch guides for all of them, but I have already made a four step guide for the simplest one of them.

I have also recently added the installation wizard.
Thank you for making this! It's fits perfectly for what I'm doing and I would recommend it to anyone. The method takes some time to wrap your head around, but once you get it it's very powerful.

Very complicated compared to V1

Not for beginners. I can't figure out how to use it. The documentation is not simple either. V1 was as simple as drag and drop a shader onto your object and it worked, just like that... then you could easily attach a plane to control the cross section angle/position. I've been at this for nearly an hour now try to achieve the same thing I had working in V1, and can't get anything at all.

Thank you for letting me know and I will fix it soon.
The setups you are talking about are supposed to work the same as in the starting version (v.1).
I have just checked this example scene you are talking about and you are right, because the script is broken and not working as expected.

Great asset worth any price

I purchased this asset, although I had a lot of problems with its adaptation in my project. Then the author cleared up all my doubts by responding to emails in a matter-of-fact and efficient manner, helping me out. The author definitely knows his job and has knowledge which he is willing to share with you to diversify the versatility of this asset. You will definitely be pleased with this solution as well as future implementations or updates.
The asset itself has many section options that are efficient in their simplicity and easy to manage.
I strongly recommend!
