I bought the shader and the developer sent me a package for the latest version of Unity. He also provided lots of help in setting up the shader properly for my needs, explaining the shaders and also tweaking the shader's texture inputs for my purposes. Lots of value for the money!

This shader is a must have for anyone looking to have high quality hair visuals in their projects. For anyone curious, this does work in Unity 2017 eventhough the last update was quite some time ago. In fact I spoke with the developer asking for help integrating the shader with another one, and not only were they prompt with help, they also revealed that a new update is in the works.
