Package requires some setup to make it work (modelling and texturing) but then it's solid and looks good.

you may simply add:
o.Emission = half3(1,0,0); // constant red emission
to the shader or look it up from an additional texture:
o.Emission = tex2D(_YourCustomEmssionMap, IN.uv_MainTex.xy).rgb;
I had trouble getting high quality lighting with baked lightmaps in a large environment without insane bake times. The tree creator shaders provided provides gorgeous physics based shading for my stylized tree creator trees without needing prebaked light maps. Shaders work great in VR.
The wind for the tree creator shaders wasn't working with Vegetation Studio Pro gpu instacing, but I contacted the developer and Lars provided the best support, helping me get through various different problems to make sure I got the wind working perfectly.

I tried this asset for the touch bending and it's providing it very nicely with a good performance, good documentation and good flexibility.
Please note that flexibility comes at a cost ; a general understanding of lightning & textures (especially in unity) is required to really follow through the documentation and apply it to your own plants.
The asset also comes with some great tools like the AFS foliage to help convert your materials or the GBEditor that let's you place plants similarly to the terrain editor (you'll have to twick it a little to allow LOD groups but its pretty straight forward).
The following points would greatly improve usability in my opinion:
- A texture painter to customize in unity the UV4 textures (similarly to R.A.M. vertex painter but with separatable color channels)
- A general performance overview in the documentation (especially since using LOD trees is actually more performant than using basic terrain trees)
- Use of new unity D.O.T.S. (Yeah, i'm dreaming :D - Tho if you do develop that i want to be the first to know!!)

This is a perfectly reasonable asset, but it's limited. For not much more money there are assets that far outstrip this one.
If you are on a budget and only need the touch bend then go for it. If you are looking for control over your vegetation in general keep looking.
