Not very realistic compared to others. No smoke and very cartoony particles to be believable. Also seems to be set in world space .
Ok for that but awkward and time consuming to try and get a good result in screen space without fireworks being exploded everywhere. But lack of smoke and the atmosphere it gives makes this asset three stars at most

I needed a convencing fireworks display and this asset proved to be very impressive. I gave 4 stars because it was initially a bit challenging to set up and tweak, but the support was fast and appreciated. My only suggestion would be to add set-up instructions to the package. Overall, really nice fireworks though!

Issue on 2019.3

unity_SRZXyHN7P3fFcAon previous version 1.4.6
Hi guys,
Very nice asset! After experimenting with it for a while, I upgraded to Unity 2019.3, but it stopped working with the following error:
Assets/Imported/Fireworks/Scripts/Demo/GameObjectSpawner.cs(28,12): error CS0619: 'GUITexture' is obsolete: 'GUITexture has been removed. Use UI.Image instead.'
Are there any plans to update the asset? Will bump up to 5 stars when updated.
Thank you

Hi,
Thank you for reporting the error.
It should now be fixed in version 1.4.7. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact support@chemicalbliss.com

Unluck Software
Works great out of the box and useful, but I would like to have some better instructions on how I might tweak certain things like the firing rate since I'm not very familiar with particle systems.
What if I just want a rocket every two seconds? I couldn't figure it out without messing everything up. Also, what if I want to turn it off without all the fireworks suddenly vanishing and sounds halting?

I'm new to unity, I've done 3 of the tutorials that are all. In the class that I am taking I needed to add some fireworks so I bought this package. Man, it was easy to add them to the scene and sound effects work great! Buy this package is you need fireworks

Pros:
1. Good particle animations! Looks great!
2. Lightweight implementation, easy to have tons of fireworks in a scene. Well organized effects.
3. Sound effects are included. (I believe this was not always the case.)
Cons:
1. No smoke effects! I would find these fireworks more awesome if they had trails of smoke and smoke clouds were left over after they exploded. None of said effects were included, and for a reason unknown to me, I cannot get smoke added to the effects. It seems to reset position of additional particles to 0,0,0.
2. Difficult to figure out how to launch just one firework instead of many scattered ones.

Don't look the same as demo in Unity 5.6.0

A fix is now available for Unity 5.6.

Hi,
Thanks for reporting the problem with the effects. It seems the changes in the particle system in Unity 5.6 needs a little tweak. I don't know why this happens, seems like a bug in Unity 5.6, it's fine in Unity 5.5.
To fix, in the Big Glow and Glow particle systems, change the Emission Burst Max from 30 to 1.
I'll make a Update for this as soon a possible.

Price a little steep for the amount of content, but its nicely structured and demo's are great.

Hi,
Yes, the sounds and sound script was an addon created as part of support for someone.
You can right click copy the component "Particle System Sound" from one of the firework prefabs with sound.
Then paste that into the Particle System you are using. You must have a "_SoundController" in the scene for sounds to work.
I'll look into adding sounds to all the effects in a future update.
