Thank you very much for contributing to the community this way! As a Unity newbie I just needed some cool effects for an educational (non-profit) game I am trying to make and this helps me to stay focussed on the other Unity challenges I encounter. (Awesome resume site by the way)

... but the problem is that it has a normal texture that is more than 200 Mb. More than 200 Mb for a texture, Carl! That's insane. Not to mention - if you are using source control, good luck to you!

Hi Spritesheet are some multi frame picture, only one frame is displayed during animation, so a picture sized to 512x512. The spritesheet picture can be resized or compressed.... It's the first time i see a Unity beginner complain about a no compressed picture to keep quality... On the other hand if the image had been ultra compressed you would not have been happy either :) People are never happy... Especially those who don't know anything about it. Regards

amazing effects, but...

the effects are basically on loop, ecxept it's harder to take off of loop. I don't know how to get them OFF of loop. -- I have yet to try it, but THANK YOU for your speed of getting back to me!

Hi You need to modify the Unity emitters setup to get instant playing... The effect are some spritesheet image animations, the rendering is made by Unity. But you can play spritesheet with others methods like script etc, here is a link to follow: https://wiki.unity3d.com/index.php/Animating_Tiled_texture Regards

The effects come in after a second so you cant have real tme effects with it even if its prewarm for me its useless
