Coding no longer needed

crazyemberekson previous version 1.9.9
With playmaker, I have yet to run into a problem that required me to code. So far everything I've wanted to do I've been able to do without writing a single line of code. Must have asset.

The deprecated code should be Unity upgradable with the Unity API Updater which should run automatically. However we do have a Unity 6 update ready to go which will address this. We will have more news on Playmaker 2 very soon! :) EDIT: The Unity 6 update is now live.

As a non coder, Playmaker opened up game development to me, following the official tutorials, you can get a game running in a very short amount of time. i love this asset, and can't recommend it enough.

The Best No Code Tool
ccoutinhoon previous version 1.9.8
I have been using C# with Unity and wanted to try out a no code approach to game creation. I tried Unity's Visual scripting tool, but found it tedious and in my opinion writing code in C# is a lot easier than using Unity's Visual Scripting. I then came across Playmaker and must say this tool is just awesome for no code creation. Using FSMs makes creating games so much more fun. I don't know why Unity decided to go for Visual scripting (Bolt) instead of Playmaker. Kudos to the creators of Playmaker. I hope they continue to update Playmaker more frequently with new features. Thanks for an awesome battle tested product.

Same Assat in AssetStore is good, some better and some best. Then we have assets that, based on their quality, potential and benefit, should be implemented directly in the paid version of UNITY 3D. I'm 40, I don't have enough time to learn Csharp anymore, but with this product I was able to program the economy system in the game, the character needs system, the character controller, the game logic and much more. without one line code. I don't understand only one thing, why Unity doesn't choose the well-behaved path, the PlayMaker path, even after years. Big thx for DevTeam.

I like this plugin alot im still testing things with it. Sofar works what i tryed for it and now to the Problem. It Throws there a Null Expection Error in PlayMakerFSM to Awake() function at your PlayMaker.dll and same for WebGL version. I hope this gets fixed so later unity versions would work it seems starting after 2021.3 versions

Amazing Asset. If every program is an FSM, Learning design patterns like FSM in C# could take months/years. This asset makes creating an FSM as easy as FlowCharting/Mind-Mapping.

Artist Friendly and Makes Game Design Fun!
kuzaion previous version 1.9.8
To start off, I have been using Game Creator 1 and 2 for years, which, don't get me wrong, are amazing, high quality assets I would recommend as well. My only issue was the saving system and how much that part was lacking. You see I love character creator games and I have always had trouble finding a visual scripting asset that can help me create the games I desire with ease, I always got stuck on the saving part. Now I'm more so an artist than a programmer though I understand the basics of game design, it's a one person job for me and I need a speedy and effective way to get my games out with good quality code (In this case visual coding). I just bought Playmaker recently because for the longest time I was a little intimidated by it, but now that I actually purchased it and tested it out, I regret not getting it much sooner, it is an amazing and powerful asset I hope stays for a very long time! It certainly can provide the save system I desire and if not there are countless assets it can easily integrate with that help provide me support with what I need. I cannot thank the developers enough for making such an amazing asset! It is most definitely the best asset on the store as suggested by others here!
