It's 2020 and this asset is still on sale? This has been broken for quite a few versions, has not been updated in years, and its web site has long disappeared, along with any support forums. Don't waste your money. If you really need visual scripting (and that's a really big if) you should use an actively supported asset like Bolt. But, if all your game logic depends on an asset, when that asset is no longer supported/updated, your game cannot be updated either. So, learn to code!

I love this tool. this is exactly I was looking for coming from a Kismet/Blueprint background. This does it all and more. I've been trying to get in touch with the author about a support issue. Cant wait. I Hope this gets updated to Unity 5

I decided to give this a try because it was on sale, and I really wanted to see if maybe it would save some time from writing code. I have come to find out that it is a great tool for those not familiar with software maybe? For me, it appears more complicated than a few simple lines of code. What I mean is it takes me longer to look at the graph and understand it than to look at the code, but I think it is due to my software background. There may be some cases where this comes in handy for complex algorithms, but I don't really do much complex stuff.
However, I still give it 5 stars because it has its place in the community and is well developed, and I could totally see myself using it as someone with less software background.

I'm an artist, and I can understand coding so much better when it is laid out as nodes. Antares may look daunting when you first load it up, but watch a few tutorials and keep with it and you will be rewarded with an awesome method of coding. Not only that but you can easily make changes while the code is running and save. This is my no. 1 plugin for unity

I'm 3d artist, not a coder. But this tool helped me to create complicated GUI and functionality in my project without any line of code.
The Universe much more powerfull then other visual scripting toos on the market. But this power demands at least basic knowledges of program logic. It takes some time to understand this logic but I don't sorry about it at all.

This is a must-have for all Unity developers, from beginners to pro's. I consider myself 90% designer/artist, and only 10% programmer. It has made life a lot easier.
It doesn't look as pretty as some of the other Visual Scripting tools, but it has the best approach to how it works.
Everything that is in the Unity manual/reference is in here down the right hand side (plus more). Other VS tools require you to code your own specific actions/blocks if it doesn't have them, but Antares is 100% visual scripting. Everything in the manual is replicated. You can even hand-code your own custom blocks if you really need to.
Also, it has a Finite State Machine built in, which is very easy to use.
It is easy to interact with any component or custom script using Wizards, and when you learn how to use them, you won't want to go back to hand-coding in Unity.

I previously used Virtools, but have transitioned to using Universe along with Unity to remain within a visual programming logic. The combination of both results in an incredibly powerful tool for artists, designers, but not only! In contrast to its competitors, the Universe environment is completely open and can be used to create absolutely anything you can imagine in Unity. Thanks to custom logic blocks, its also flexible. For example, it's really easy to use any add ons such as a Kinect Sensor, Arduino, or Augmented Reality…
Universe is great for rapid prototyping but can also be used for big projects. I have been using it for near a year now for standalone PC and MAC projects but also iPhone and Android Apps, I've used it for each of my projects, without having to write a single line of code! You can still look for alternatives but there is nothing more powerful and faster than Universe.
Universe's interface is clear and user friendly. It's really fast to learn, especially if you already have experience with visual programming. Its forum is well documented and a Skype channel has been established so that you get expert help almost instantly!
Universe is my dream tool and I couldn't imagine using Unity without it anymore!

No joke, I tryed some other Visual Scripting tools on the AppStore but Vizio IS - by far - simply the best.
The amount of work involved to bring this piece of software to the quality it curently is , that is really a huge effort.
