unity 6 conflict with new input system

Been using this plug for a long time with no issues but it doesnt work with unity 6 with the new input system .. solution plse.

Does not work properly in Unity6

It worked fine in previous Unity versions, but in Unity6, even after reinstalling the assets, it doesn't work properly. When I press the "Update Previews" button, it takes about 5 minutes for all devices to finish displaying. Also, the console is full of "GUI tried" errors. I need a quick fix.

Same Crash Issues like another Rating in here!

Ive exactly the same behaivour like from another rating in here. Khud0on previous version 1.11.2 CAUTION: CRASHES! (+ How to fix) Describes the exact same problem. Wasted already over 10 hours fixing my problem. The only fix for me was deleting the package folder.

Hello, I'm sorry you are experiencing some crashes with the asset. As I previously said, I am not able to reproduce that issue, and I need more information. Can you send me more info to supporŧ@wildmagegames.com, including your exact asset version, Unity version, exported platforms, devices that crashes, and if possible the crash logs.

View your game on multiple devices in the editor. Export screenshots that the stores need. Customizable screen displays for devices that are not in the presets. I looked at the negative reviews, because who could NOT like this. And it looks like all those issues have been fixed.

I have a good PC but my only problem is my PC will start to lag because I want to see all the things I can have it preview, but there is more than 200 and my PC can not handle them all. LOL

Hello, I double checked my inbox and unfortunately didn't find any email about that issue, so I just saw your support request, sorry for the delay. After some testing it looks like I made a mistake on last version that only partially disable that feature when the build platform is not iOs or Android, causing that compilation issue. I fixed the issue and the update should be available soon. Meanwhile, you can just remove the faulty lines in the GreyboxCanvas script, by removing lines 129 and 181, this will solve the issue. Sorry again for the issue and the delay, do not hesitate to contact me at support@wildmagegames.com if you have any other issues.

CAUTION: CRASHES! (+ How to fix)

I bought this asset exclusively for its "preview your game on Nintendo Switch in real size" feature. And this thing works perfectly, not gonna lie. However, ever since I imported it, all my game builds started crashing upon launch. I was worried that it corrupted my project, but the game was working well inside Unity, so it seems only the builds were affected. Here's the fix I managed to find after hours of searching for the cause of this problem in a panic: 1) Open the Window > AlmostEngine > Universal Device Preview > Device Preview (if you haven't already). 2) Go to Settings in the upper right corner and scroll to the bottom. 3) Disable anything that says "build" in it. You should see: "Exclude from build is Enabled", "Safe Area component: Excluded", "Add screenshots...: Excluded", etc. Just in case the developer reads this, the log was flooded with over 80 lines of error, which all look very similar so I'll only list a few of them: The referenced script (UnityEngine.Rendering.PostProcessing.Vignette) on this Behaviour is missing! The referenced script on this Behaviour (Game Object '<null>') is missing! A scripted object (probably UnityEngine.Rendering.PostProcessing.Vignette?) has a different serialization layout when loading. (Read 40 bytes but expected 152 bytes) Did you #ifdef UNITY_EDITOR a section of your serialized properties in any of your scripts? The referenced script (Cinemachine.NoiseSettings) on this Behaviour is missing! The referenced script on this Behaviour (Game Object '<null>') is missing! A scripted object (probably Cinemachine.NoiseSettings?) has a different serialization layout when loading. (Read 40 bytes but expected 264 bytes) Did you #ifdef UNITY_EDITOR a section of your serialized properties in any of your scripts? The referenced script (UnityEngine.EventSystems.EventSystem) on this Behaviour is missing! The referenced script (UnityEngine.EventSystems.StandaloneInputModule) on this Behaviour is missing! The referenced script (UnityEngine.UI.CanvasScaler) on this Behaviour is missing! The referenced script (UnityEngine.UI.GraphicRaycaster) on this Behaviour is missing!

Hello, I'm sorry you are experiencing a crash issue with the asset. If you managed to "fix" it by excluding the Gallery feature, that mean the crash should be happening on iOS ? Is this the case ? Unfortunately, the logs you copied are not related to the asset so I can not find a solution in it. I would like to have more information to investigate it and find a solution for it. What is you exact Unity version, what is the device where the crash happens, what is the iOS version ? Could you send me all these details and crash logs and dumps to support@wildmagegames.com ? Thanks.

I love the Gallery Window where I can have multiple devices displayed at once. This allows me to see how my UI looks on those devices at a quick glance. This has some issues if you are using UXML Documents for your runtime UI. I get a double stamp in the preview/gallery view window. It did allow me to realize that I had some issues with some of the phones that have edge to edge displays, My UI was not taking into account for the Notches or "Safe Area". This tool makes it a breeze to account for if you are using Unity UI with a canvas. Overall a most have tool to have.

Hello, Indeed UXML is not yet supported, but since Unity is now starting to recommend it for runtime I started working on it.
