This asset serves no purpose in the latest version of Unity. When I requested a refund, I was directed to contact Unity directly, and ultimately, no refund was issued. Please refrain from purchasing unless you want to waste your money.

Hi I apologize that you haven't got your money back! In the end, Unity promised us (= publishers and customers) that they will take care of all refunds and approve them without any hassle... Therefore it's not our fault, that the refund wasn't issued. However, please contact us again and we will open a ticket at Unity support to get your money. Regards, Stefan

プラットフォームの切り替えがすぐに終わります. 値段は少ししますが,それ以上の価値があると思います. Unity2019になってからはVRCSDKとの相性も問題無いです.

Must-have for VRChat authors

If you make content for VRChat, you definitely want this asset. VRChat lets you upload a PC version of your worlds/avatars, and also an Oculus Quest (Android) version. I make tons of VRChat worlds and Turbo Switch Pro has saved me so much time. Uploading the two versions of my worlds only takes 5 minutes now instead of 30. Cross platform content is awesome!

Don't know what to think. Sometimes it works as advertised, great. Sometimes it just won't start again Unity after the switch/close and when you open it manually it's a lottery weither the plateform changed or not. And sometimes, you get a full reimport for no reason. I've tried with different setups (2019.2.17f1 and 2020.1.6f1 with various MacOS, now 10.15.7). It would be nice if this tool could be predictable (it happened to me on older installs / versions as well)

As soon as you've switched once, and the library data is cached, the switch doesn't take more than a few seconds. This should be bought by Unity! Works excellent with Turbo Builder Pro for an awesome build pipeline.

This asset not perfect - there is a big problem in some cases switching platform. For example if you switched it before, applied some changes to prefabs and switch back to initial platform changes can be missed. I found this issue switching between Android <--> iOS. Hopefully I founds the solution just to cleanup switch target platform cache and all changes applied, but...that shouldn't be like that and entire asset idea is loosing the value. So the problem is cached prefabs update. I still use it, but it will work 100% only if you do some tests without general changes

Hi novaVision Thank you for your feedback! We're aware that the new switch mode has the issues you mentioned with some Unity versions. Unfortunately, we can't do much against it since it's not in our hands :-( Anyway, there is a solution: enable "Legacy Mode" in the configuration and it will work 100% every time. This is absolutely amazing! I don't think I've ever shed a tear over an asset before. I literally feel like I'm regaining half of my life back! I went from waiting 30 minutes when switching platforms on an intel core i7 9th gen, 32 GB RAM to waiting seconds. Take my money. :) 5 stars doesn't even do this asset justice. Solid 10/10.

I finally have gotten around to writing a review, and this asset definitely deserves one. I've been using it about 6 months and love this asset. It's saved me many, many hours of lost productivity. I've used it on two pretty large projects, often needing to switch between iOS, Android and Windows for testing. It's worked flawlessly, with switches taking a fraction of the time they used to. Thanks!

Hi che2010 Thank you for your feedback! What do you mean by "still slow"? TPS should be only slow for the first switch to a new platform, because Unity has to import all assets. This is only happening once per platform, afterwards the data is cached and switches have to be blazing fast. The only exception is when new large data is added, e.g. new textures and models; they have to be imported per platform. About the warning: this seems to be a Unity problem.
