Good things come to those who organize

Gotta love having little sprite tags for each of the objects in my scene's hierarchy!

In brief,
RAINBOW, like many UNITY hierarchy assets, lacks the crucial "profile auto-save/load" feature for scenes. Expect manual saving.
However, it offers an excellent deal for top-notch icon and color customization, free from clutter or editor changes.
PROS:
- Abundance of icon and color choices.
- Streamlined icon application using RULES.
- Lightweight and dependable. Updated recently.
- Minimalistic design.
CONS:
- Involves additional effort for scene rules. Suggestion: Skip Exporting/Exporting rulesets. Just use a single Rainbow prefab across every single scene. And update that prefab when needed. (Singleton approach)
CONCLUSION:
RAINBOW excels in icon and color customization. It doesn't offer automated project rules like pricier options. It specializes in what it does best: icons and colors for gameobjects. A tidy hierarchy.

Mixed bag

It's really nice to be able to set custom icons.
Really simple to change color and icon.
However, it is a very manual process. There is no good way to set up rules that apply to all scenes
Feels like a sub par solution to add an object to the scene to handle editor specific visual things.
Would be nice to have some more things visible in the hierarchy, like tag and layer.

Hi alexennerfelt,
Thank you for reporting this issue. We're working on a compatibility fix now.
UPD: Fixed and uploaded a new version on the Asset Store. Should be publicly available after their review process (usually a few working days)

Cool, but missing obvious features

This is pretty good but missing some obvious features.
The main one that comes to mind is that I cannot set general rules, only specific rules.
Oddly I can do this just fine in RainbowFolders (similar addon for Project view), but not here. There is regex for searching objects in the scene, but not for applying styles. I would like to set a regex such as "All objects whose names start with NPC_" so that it can just automatically style those objects.
Currently you are required to manually style every single object as you add it to the scene. This is cumbersome to the point of making the tool almost useless.
As it stands this is only useful for marking objects that change/add rarely, like managers and such.
