The remote scene viewer which is part of the NG Tools collection is wonderful. It allows you to use the hierarchy & inspector window to inspect the scene that is currently running on your device. No more log statements, just build your app as normal, then connect the remote hierarchy viewer and see what's happening in realtime. There was a problem using this tool with Unity 2019 on OSX, but the author quickly provided a bug fix.

I had a problem with activation but I think it is sorted now. I am not really sure how to use these products, I may have to do some research.

my use case was super special. but even tho I was only using the free version. the author worked with me to provide a custom build with features I needed within < 24 hours. That's not to say the features already existing in the product are bad. far from it. This package is amazing for looking into the state of any running unity game. To give some idea of how powerfull this is. Im working on modding support for a game that lacks it. I dont own the source code to the unity game Im inspecting. I dont have the unity project. I cant recompile the binary. I only have a production build. Im injecting the NGRemoteServer at runtime. I can now see the entire scene inside a unity editor. poke it around and see what's what. coming from a terrible editor to do this ingame I made myself. The feature set and quality of what is in this package simply blew me away. Just buy / use it. you wont regret it.

This is a must have asset!!! Just like the headline :) Components and different windows are just awesome!!! Support is unbelieveably great!! Totally recommend this asset to anybody!!! and the file size is lightweight!! :D 5 star all the way!!!

This asset is excellent. The remote hierarchy/inspector lets me edit gameobjects while my app is running on my Android device! And it actually works! It is hard to imagine why this is not built into Unity. I am super pumped to try out the rest of the features, but the remote hierarchy and inspector alone have me convinced. The developer is also very responsive. I had an issue and he was on it within minutes! This version is free so you might as well give it go. You will likely purchase the pro version once you see what it is capable of. Update: The object selection navigation feature to use your mouse back and forward buttons is super sweet. I was told by another asset developer that this was not possible because of the way the Unity editor interacts with Windows. Yet lo and behold it is in this package.

Rather than searching for your gameobject 1000 of times just dock it using this tool! It will save you a huge amount of time. NG tools have so many functions that it is most likely you will use the tool a lot of times. All of them work.. NG hierarchy, NG dock, and so much more.. You will probably need this too. Thank you for the great asset!

Miklio is super generous. This tool is already very useful even though its not a full version. The dock and the quick-activate-objects features are awesome! On Mac there are some glitches on some of the features (cause he develops it on a Windows machine) but I can't complain, it's free. :D
