Sadly asset does not work when scene is closed. It opens the scene and finds the asset, but removes other scenes from the hierarchy. Usable to an extent.

Just update "ToolbarSeachTextField" to "ToolbarSearchTextField" in SearchUtils.cs and it will work. Otherwise it's just what you need.

Incredibly well made, well coded, easy to modify. I've had to fix the "seach" warnings in unity 2022, like for many other assets, but otherwise it works find. It took me half an hour to add a few features I needed, like hotkeys, additional menu items for shortcuts and auto-focus when double clicking. Lovely work.

Is always in any editor layout I use. Essential to my work. I am working on an RPG with thousands of assets so this makes life much easier!

The asset is free and works perfectly on Unity 2023. It is simple but has everything you need.

This asset does what you expect it to do without having to do any tweaking, while being lightweight and free.

it took me a month of having this addon, to remember to use it, but now it's part of my workflow. there are countless times that I think "dangit I have to make my way back to [some part of my project]" and then just as I am about to go looking for that piece of my project, I'll remember that I added it to my favorites, and it is a soothing breath of relief to be able to simply click a button and be transported to the object/asset/scene I'm looking for.
