Hello, I purchased the save component and it is really very good. Everything works perfectly for me except that I cannot load a saved scene from the main menu using continue. That is, for example, I save scene A but if I try to load it from scene B it doesn't work.
In the attached examples it doesn't work for me either, that's the strange thing. In Bomber Dog, for example, loading a saved scene from the menu continues does not work.

Hello Maria,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. This is mostly caused by the default configuration, as the default configuration is setup to automatically save the game again when a slot changes or when the game exits. Making it super fast to have save and load working out of the box.
In the examples there is a game object called README, follow the steps outlined in that object and it should work well.

Somehow people in your game are having issues with the saving. I created a backup system specifically for you to ensure there is always a backup archive. It's hard for me to fully understand what kind of issues you are having, as the corruption that occurs may be because of code errors on your side of things. )
Sorry to hear you are having issues with the plugin.
Regarding your issues with modifying the JSON.
This is something that has been fixed, but kept in for compatibility reasons.
Could you go to "Window/Saving/Open Save Settings" and check if "Legacy JSON Writing" is turned on? If you turn this off, it will save it properly. Main issue is that if you do this, older versions of the game won't be able to read the same save. (new users of the plugin have this turned off by default)
Regarding your second issue, I have updated the plugin to include A, B saving. So it will alternate saving between archives. So in case of corruption it will load the other archive.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase of the Component Save System asset. I was able to get to get my desired save system up and running quickly thanks to great documentation as well as the inclusion of handy example scenes to refer to. I also contacted the developer regarding small questions and he was very quick to reply with kind and detailed responses. I highly recommend the Component Save System asset!

Features other than real-time save are hard to use, and the documentation doesn't have to be integrated with what you'd find on GIT to use. Long learning curve. In the end, I wrote the SAVE SYSTEM myself.

What features specifically did you have issues with?
There is a big sample game included in the plugin that can be fully saved, as well as a example main menu and pause menu. Also make sure to watch the YouTube video.

I can’t say anything bad about this asset. This is simply a life-safer.
So easy to use and implement. The developer responds to mails and is very supportive.
I can’t believe the price is so low..
worth every penny and more…

Regarding your question, if they are non-monobehaviours.
You can add this attribute above the class: [System.Serializable]

I watched the video tutorial and was able to easily integrate this asset into my game. I pretty much finished making my game first and then wanted to add saving system(which is a bad idea, you should implement saving asap) But this asset #savedMyLife(pun intended)!! Thanks!

I cannot believe how easy this is to implement. I have spent months trying to wrap my head around how I was going to implement a save system and in a couple of hours after installing this asset I had a working main menu and pause menu along with saves on pickups. Kudos to the developer for making this asset!!

This save system works wonders. Been testing this for a few days now and I love this by far.
Saves not only the components (for instantiated objects at runtime) but you can save the variables within the components (via some programming of course) and is super easy to work with.
