Will save you a lot of headache

The asset does exactly what it says. I had a minor problem reading a zip file but I downloaded all their latest files from their github page and that solved it.

Seriously... streaming assets finally work on android, still doesn't work on webgl but with android it works flawlessly and all I had to do was:
download asset
add 1 line for initialization
modify the line for reading the asset

Saved my project! (Where's the 6 stars rating?)

Without hyperbole, this asset saved my android game release. I have been sat for 2 months trying to get apks to copy files out to persistentdatapath - path this, permissions that... I had a look at the test scene, tried a few small commands (initialize, ReadAllBytes) and the entire process is done.
Two months of unsuccessful work vs one evening. I can honestly say I owe this asset a great deal. :) Not to mention it's free! It's enough that I'll be looking at the build information assets with an eye to buying them, as this is a wonderful developer and I actively want to support them - I don't usually gush over a review, but... genuinely, this deserves it. Thank you again :)

After one day of trying to fix the path issue in Android builds I found this. Took 10 minutes to get it working.
Remember to call BetterStreamingAssets.Initialize(); before first use.
