Not sure what's going on with priorities over at Unity that this isn't already a built-in feature of the editor... :/ Thanks for the tool, and for keeping it free to use.

I am a programmer that is new to Unity. I'm used to editors and IDEs that autosave and was shocked that Unity doesn't. This works right out of the box so freaking well with no configuration! Thank you so much! FYI I am using Version 2021.3.18

i had it on "save on play" and unity just crashed. i couldn't even open the project in unity hub. luckily i had a backup

Saves on user defined interval with the option to save on play. Hard to believe Unity didn't come with this built in. Thanks for this asset. Source code is provided so you can make little tweaks to suit your needs as well, like a time stamp to the save message.
