There is not much more to say than what I did in the title, but well ... Believe it or not, I downloaded this after spending about 4 hours struggling with the new unity Job system, and giving up after understanding some critical limitation that are impossible to be overcome in my case. And then I tried this asset: literally solved my issue in 20 minutes, super easy to use and all. Assuming all work like it's announced, what I ended up coding should be Thread Safe (since allegedly you can switch between sub and main thread with a simple line, which it seems to be doing fine as far I could see with my few tests; it's easy enough to ensure you don't access something you should not && to make data copies if needed, you can also go back to unity anytime in your computing if you need to check for something or other ...) Well, basically it's like magic (to me at least) I don't know how well it works behind the scene, maybe it's inefficient versus other systems or unity job system, or something; Magic looking tools usually bring some heavy drawback with them, but for now I can't see any, almost too good to be true really ! (I am on mobile and I guess unity job system would save battery and so on, but their system required me to instantiate 10 time too much memory in planing for a rare worst case scenario result of the job, so I guess that would end up costing more battery than whatever Ninja Thread does) Anyway, thank to this asset I can avoid a nasty freeze and it was easy and fast to implement, wich for me at this time is super important. I know my review sound like a bad cleaning product advertisement, who are always frauds, but this is legit and I am super thankfull !

This is hands down the easiest way I've found of making simple and easy to read multi-threaded code. For simpler tasks this is an excellent alternative to the jobs system, and takes away a lot of the complexity of writing multi threaded code with native c# libraries. This is an excellent choice for simpler time-costly task which need to not block the main thread, like e.g. 1) writing and reading to files, or 2) making API calls. Most importantly this library makes dynamically switching between separate and main thread code take only a single line of code... When you might not want to use this: 1) If you need the insane speed-ups of the burst compiler (and can convert your working memory for the task into blittable memory for the jobs system). 2) If you need to access lots of unity's API frequently throughout the parallelized part of the task. (Switching back to the main thread has a 1 frame penalty -- it's best to do all of the work and apply it the next frame, not switch back and forth a bunch of times. This is easy to abuse as you're code get more complex.) 3) Because of this if you need the results of the threaded work to be done by the end of this frame, try using the job system and calling complete on the main thread in LateUpdate.

This plugin helped speed up my iOS app so much. I was downloading a number of files which was causing my app to freeze with each download. Once I pushed them to a background thread using this the app sped up exponentially. The documentation made it really simple to follow as well. I have very little multithread experience and this made it so easy.
