Appreciated for Unity 2017's continued support. A few helpful terrain biomes come pre-made and ready. Another point is to have a feature of preview generated in a scene. But from there ... it's different from demo video. It has performance and texture quality issues. At finest settings - everything still appears too blocky, once you click generate the terrain map in editor, by any available biome to pick from. Other (cheaper) asets (without any learning curve from manuals) do it straight-away a lot better, they have a lot better performance and quailty of display of the things you get, once a map is generated. If you want asteroids field as a cube shape or floating islands - it might just do, but that only, for some usability idea. Optimization for (default) performance and (default) beauty of display can benefit this asset. The dev should probably talk to Denis Pahunov dev of Voxeland, for some advice how to get it right, since from here - it's probably just a some small step needed to get it, to be the best, as intended. Messy system bad node editing system to design anything

definitely not worth nearly $100. it would be sadly easier to just code your own system from scratch. Complicated and confusing process to even start designing a terrain. Really bad and non-helpful documentation with almost zero tutorials. save your money and the headache

Doesn't work out of the box with any kind of player. No documentation about performing a basic integration with any type of character controllers. Not really worth the time to debug and write that part yourself with the price tag.
edit: just wanted to also mention their discord has at least some rude moderators that will try to scare you because of any lack of understanding you have with Unity. This was posted in the "beginner-help" channel and Greviousss just makes things worse "answering" your questions by trying to belittle you https://imgur.com/ribIrGX

It does what it says it does. It is a powerful voxel land generation system, and it is good at creating infinite land.
Unlocking the full power of this tool kind of requires that you understand how Dual Contouring works (at least the basics) and how to use Signed Distance Fields.
But even if you are skilled with this kind of stuff, do not get this asset and think that you will be producing what you see in the example scene in 5 minutes...
Its a fantastic piece of software, but the learning curve attached to this paired with a really limited amount of documentation for how to use the tool to harness its power in a useful way not existing just sucks.

This Developer is has a link to this from the Digger asset, but yet this product is way out of date. What kind of person would advertise something that does not work anymore?

This asset had a lot of promise. It's pretty neat. But as of now, it has many incompatibility bugs with Unity2020 versions, and it's far from finished. The one that Carmelblob is getting is a problem that's fixed by disabling/re-enabling "Generate & display terrain in scene view." Another is fixed by changing a couple lines of code (found in the discord under bug report).
If developer continued to actively work on it, it'd be worthwhile, but they are not. Look elsewhere for a voxel solution.
