The lava effects really caught my eye. I've played with this an unhealthy amount :)
If you just want nice looking lava it does that. If you want lava flows kind of like water it does that very well.

Acissatharon version 1.8
Even in Unity 2022 URP this system is working great (granted using my own shaders).
Even with Unity's own spline system (finally lol) starting to be released, I keep coming back to this one.
The point editing is easy to do, the generated mesh can be low poly while still retaining your desired shape, various tools to carve or snap to terrain if you're using it, and the flow map is a great bonus.
The spline tool also allows for direct export of the mesh when you're done, so you can further tweak in Blender or what not.

azcoffeehabiton previous version 1.7.9
The lava textures, tessellation, and emission is incredible, heat reactive materials could be an asset on it's own. HDRP Support allows for some really amazing graphical fidelity. Performance is great. An A+ asset

Thanks!:)
Nice looking assets that are relatively easy to get a good looking effect with.
Has a lot of nice utility features and enough assets to be useful in a lot of contexts.
Developer also offers active support in case you run into any problems.
Worth it.

Magic-Thoron previous version 1.4.2
As you can see in demovideos is this a AAA-Asset! The developer was continuos updating this asset, so you have a minimum L.V.E 2022... ;) It's easy to use and with many tutorials... GREAT! Clear 5 Stars :)
Thanks!

Hi!
Thanks;) Yeap we all the time make it work with latest engine versions:)
This asset is the best. It is easy to use because it has a mobile material. The spline system is the best because it can be applied to other tasks.

Thanks! Yes, splines are pretty universal they can be used in many different cases like roads, paths or walls.
I have mixed feelings about this asset. It looks amazing and once you get over the initial learning curve, it's fairly easy to use. Unfortunately, it requires very specific setups to work properly, so has limited uses.
The built-in shader painter works really well for getting impressive rock and lava effects, but unfortunately makes it so you can't use the objects as prefabs, since the prefab loads in without a mesh. I wrote the author and get the impression from his vague responses that there is no work-around for this. This stipulation also applies to the river-spline creator, which is pretty much the back-bone of this asset.
There is also limited use for this asset on anything but terrain type landscapes. Most of the built in functions that make it easy to build out the river and lake systems require a terrain surface to work. This means there is no application for this on 3 dimensional objects. It's a real shame since it pretty much makes it worthless for the application I bought it for.
So as long as you are planning on using this system on a terrain and don't mind not being able to make prefabs with the shaders, I'd say this is one of the coolest assets in the Unity store. Otherwise, you should probably look elsewhere for lava effects.
EDIT: I had to remove another star from this package due to false advertising. I recently had to move a project using this from Unity 2021 to 2020 due to DOTS incompatibility in 2021. It clearly states in the product description that it works with URP in 2020+, but the readme for updating it says you have to have 2021. I tried anyways and was unable to get the shaders to work. It's a real shame, since 2020 is the latest LTS version.

Hi
If you vertex paint object at scene, mesh become scene object. Such object cant be prefab but..... ofc you can import mesh with vertex painting already made in 3d program and you can use such mesh as prefab. This is how engine works.
Spline is also scene object, you can export spline as fbx but.. why you would use this as prefab? You would re-use same spline multiple times? It's rather orginal object dedicated to specific area.
You can use spline with 3d meshes aswell. Make note that cave demo scene doesnt use terrain object at all. So spline is not limited to terrain. Spline could be snap etc also to 3d meshes, look at demo scenes carefully. We show there multiple options.
Edit:
It works at 2020 LTS. Instead if removing "stars" from review please contact support first and check why this happend. You cannot just move files from 2021 into 2020 URP and think it will work out of the box. No... If you downgrade your engine version please remove asset from asset store temp folder, download again and import support pack for your specific engine urp version. Sorry but URP shaders from 2021 do not work at 2020. You have to replace shaders in project as unity 2021 have alot changes in compare to 2020... You have this shaders in files which are dedicated to your engine version.
For 2020 LTS you have 10.7 urp support packs which support 10.7 and higher 10.x urp versions
For 2021.2 you have 12.1 urp support pack which support 12.1 and higher 12.x urp versions.

I have some other asset from the same dev and this one is the worse quality one, nothing to do with the others, and the shaders have a problem they don't work if you use them inside a prefab to build a dynamically generated level

Ofc they work like that. Send us email with problems that you get. We will help you with setup.
There is no possible situation where prefabs will not work if you place them proceduraly.
