Simple and great

Really easy to use, has lots of options and different shapes, and you can turn 2 sprites into 1. Perfect.

Strange Behaviour

I converted a polygon into a png. It instantly turned off every single UI element in my game. I had to go turn on every single image and text asset again.
I also have a ton of new gameobjects of unknown purpose at the bottom of my hierarchy.
It also did things like change my ui from screen space to world view. I'm finding a bunch of small things here and there.
Is this a bug? User error? It took me a good bit to correct all of this.

Sorry that happened. When you convert to sprite, Shapes2D creates a png with the current object and any child shapes, and then it deactivates the child shapes because they are now captured at the top level. It also changes the canvas to world view during the conversion. It's supposed to restore the old render mode afterwards, but maybe in your case it threw an exception and failed to do that. Hopefully you got everything back the way you had it.

This thing is awesome. I have used it for years, in several different projects.
If you need a sprite shape, it can save you a ton of time. I love that it even converts the shape to a regular sprite that you can use anywhere sprite textures go, for example, in masks.

Shapes2D is undoubtedly one of the most useful assets on the store, however some may experience several issues while using it. To save you from the headaches, I made a fork where I tried to solve most of these issues. So, if you experience certain problems with the stable version, you should try this too:
