Can only use a directional light which is not reasonable for a solar system.

Works in most recent unity 18. I added a simple rotation script, the planets look really good. Edit to say that the different textures can be mixed, clouds, landmasses, city lights. Each material uses each map seperate, which can be moved during runtime, to create more procedural style worlds.

For free this is a wonderful asset. It might have some small issues that every programmer should find a workaround. I was searching for a simple planet generator on the net and this one is flexible enough to produce a lot of different results.

Great, works (Unity 2017 beta). Good effects for distance objects. Not necessary planets too.

I use it to generate many textures for dynamic planete. The code was really easy to adapt to my need. If you adapte the code to choose yourself the seeds, you may gain a lot of storage. Thank you !
