Very happy with this purchase and it's a robust system, but there are definitely features it feels like it should have but does not. In my case:
1 - Supports. You can create these wild tracks but there are no supports, so you can either have floaty track about the place or manually, somehow, time consumingly, create some kind of supports for the tracks, which never look great. Basic upright supports and being able to define which track sections have them, and their length, would be fine.
2 - Snap to terrain. You have to manually align the track over the terrain, again, very time consuming, iffy results. It should be able to snap to the terrain like many other assets of this nature do, ie EasyRoads.
3 - Minor issues. Documentation on some items like creating linked carts seems lacking, presumably using hinge-joints which are not explained here (and are presumably a vital component). Also, cart controls so you can "drive" the cart not just have it obey track settings. Making points work and fire at runtime is also a bit fiddly and cumbersome.
Well worth a buy on sale. Just be aware it probably won't do everything you want it to do. But what it does to this point, it does well.

I actually have some support-generating stuff sitting around somewhere, perhaps I should look into working on that further!

Excellent asset! In my case I wanted to use tube-like rails and I was happily surprised that assets for such solution were already present. I actually used the rails in completely different context and it just worked. Almost unbelievable :-)
And what's more, asset was created with level-designers in mind so it is super easy to modify any part of the rail system with just a few clicks.

Asset is great, physics as very good. The track bender is insanely great.
I previously struggled with custom tracks. I think in hindsight that was my own lack of understanding; but would still suggest the author documents that in more layman language as some people looking at this asset might not be so aware of 3d modelling terms.
Extremely pleased with the result and editor. I hope the author continues to invest, as I've read the code and there are couple of low hanging fruits, like more efficient number of sections for straight bits of track.
Would love to see the ability to have geometry we could use as track links, so you could insert something BETWEEN each track section (in my case, jigsaw pieces, to make a toy train track); but I can possibly work that out myself (shouldn't be too hard, now that I think about it).

Good railroad physics but requires some changes

As someone developing a train simulator, i am really happy with this design. once you know how to use it you can create a very realistic railway physics enviorment. it still needs a few changes:
1: vehicles with multiple contact points(well, i made some physics for it)
2: realistic railroad switch(with an animated special mesh generated). the existing switch is not very realistic.
3: signals, both main and distanct
4: a get radius function(i made one myself)

Outstanding Asset Dev`s, And undate 3.00 is very nice
What id like to see :-)
1. Please provide a tutorial on how to Create user track pieces, i looked at the document but coulnt follow it, im a visual learner
2. If a Carrage falls from one track to another bellow, The carrage will "snap" onto the track it lands on and continue. That would make for some nice stunt action scenes
3. Scripts that add the ability to pause the carrage at defined places( like a station ) and start after a defined time( I found the script that does it , thanks)
4. Cross road tracks support would also be great +( Tracks can run accross each other, so coss road isnt needed, cheers)
Support is good, keep in mind the the Dev has other responsibilities, so you might not get same day support

While the move/rotate widget is up, hold control (or command) while dragging one of the red, green, or blue circles to rotate snapped to specific angles.

What a fun asset this is and it works very well. I contacted the author about 'stops' as I wanted to stop at 'stations' and in no time at all I received a custom script. Thanks Jon.
