Affordable and Decent Tool

I'm aware that some people have complaints about this product, and there were times when this tool acted strangely, especially with more complex modeling. However, in most cases, it has been helpful to me.

Worth it

Had a problem in a game I'm working which objects would not collide at all against objects with complex geometry and would clip through them, So instead of manually building colliders out of basic shapes (box, sphere, etc.) I tried this asset. Solved my problem and helped me save a ton of time. It's incredible for it's price point.

Good coverage, but merge logic does not work well.

This actually uses box colliders, which is a plus. But then the actual results often have huge numbers of contiguous cells that could be combined, and the logic simply fails to do so. There are not any better solutions on the asset store that solve this problem with box colliders, but right now this doesn't really solve the problem, either.

It can work , But So many Colliders , your game can't work well. too much Colliders ,can't delete .......... so many years don't update !!! Why Unity' Assetstore push this ?

This asset is brilliant for the price. The only issue I have really is that it doesn't correctly build colliders for sub-objects and that is a bit of a problem with the models I've built. For example a metal ring will only get 1 small collider at the top and 1 at the bottom, leaving the rest of the ring without collision. I would recommend it though, it is a smashing asset outside of the 1 issue I have and should work great for most people. Take not that if you are receiving no box colliders you may need to check "avoid space" on the component.

Let me save you the time in case you run into problems, and in all honesty that should be in the readme file: If the script doesn't create any coliders, chances are your mesh object is the child of another empty object. This for some reason creates an error so the script won't run properly. You need to put the mesh at the top of the hierarchy. Just create an empty object and apply mesh renderer and mesh filter on it. also if for some reason the resolution of the coliders is very low no matter what you do, it's because the pivot point of the mesh is far away from it. Just center the pivot to the mesh, and the resolution of the colliders will increase. I hope that helps!

Works great for the price

This does a great job as a simple one click solution to creating the non convex colliders you need. It works pretty fast, but doesn't have too much customization, but that works well in the project I need it for. Also considering other similar collider generators I saw cost 50 to even a 100 dollars, this is likely the best bang for your buck if you need a simple one click solution for a small project and not much else.

Work as expected

Tried a free concave-mesh plugin but it didn't work, then came to this cheap plugin. Surprisingly it's very easy-to-use and work as expected, in my base, making a polygon plane in 3D space. Minor 1 star because the developer hasn't been maintained this for almost 4 years, even simply building from a new version of Unity should increase the confidence of people bought this.
