This asset allows the user to create Vector Fields (aka 3D Textures) and modify them in realtime, these can be used for particle systems and visual graph.
Render pipeline compatibility
The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. The Universal Render Pipeline (URP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that is quick and easy to customize, and lets you create optimized graphics across a wide range of platforms. The High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that lets you create cutting-edge, high-fidelity graphics on high-end platforms.

This is the Lite version which doesn't have the ability to import a 3D texture and it has a limit on the number of arrows that can be created (15 max)

Technical details

Creation of Vector Fields (aka 3D Textures).

Four types of arrows for controlling force:

  • Absolute: affects all pixels by "Force" amount equally.
  • Relative: affects pixels within inner radius by full amount of "Force" then fades out in the outer radius.
  • Inverse Relative: affects pixels within outer radius by full amount of “Force” then fades out in the inner radius.
  • Multiply: multiplies the value of pixels within inner radius by full amount of "Force" then fades out in the outer radius.
  • Suck (didn't find a better name lol): sets pixels inside inner radius to 0 and the pixels in outer radius to direct towards the arrow (producing a suction effect), if you set the "Force" to a negative value then the direction of the pixels will be in the opposite direction (producing a propelling effect).

Modification of multiple arrows at once.

Realtime texture for use withing VFX graph or Particle System Force Field (Signed Format).
