Typically these types of games are for PC, however iPhone 7 runs example 1 at 60 fps and still has 45 fps running distortion shaders (in the scene). Worst case avoid the distortion shaders.

An important addition to my library

alvaromagnumon version 1.4
Well, I'm not used to review an asset after the first minutes using it, but I had to. I bought this tool after seeing the videos. I thought it would be good in my game. My character is a Mage and Status Indicators gave a better playability to him with a very great visual effects. The asset is very easy to use. It comes with demos scenes and a very good and very well written manual; all explaning how to use it and change some properties through window tools and through programming. Even for beginners, like me, they won't find any difficulties using the tool. Congratulations to the author.

+ : I used this asset for a long time and I was very happy, some changes on the code allowed me to do what I wanted with.
- : But Unity HD RP and LW RP (Universal) will surely be unavoidable, but this asset is not compatible with the new version, and probably no update.
It's a must have for some kind of game if you dont use HDRP/LWRP

Visually Stunning, Functionally Lacking

Disastercakeon version 1.4
Pros
+ Visuals are as advertised.
+ Simple to setup the basics.
+ Well thought out variety of shapes.
+ Examples provided.
+ Clever, clear, and simple programming.
+ Open source.
Cons
- No API (or examples) for calculating if a collider or point is within the bound of an effect.
- Does not support the new 2019 LWRP or HDRP (this means this package may become incompatible with future Unity versions).
Note: Someone who understands shaders should be able to recreate the shaders in ShaderGraph to support LWRP and HDRP.

No need to use sprites. You can render onto a 2D transparent plane if you're doing a 2D game. However please be aware this is an asset designed for 3D games. Please email before submitting feedback, you are more likely to get a faster and better response there.
