Im using a low poly mesh with maybe 30 vertices and when enabling the outline it always lags. Not while it is enabled, only the frame enabling it. Precomputing doesnt help. This is an issue both in the editor as well as in builds.

Thanks so much for trying Quick Outline, and for your feedback! The tool does some work when it’s first enabled, and then caches the results per-model.
Does it help if you start with the outline enabled at launch, and then disable it on the first frame? It should be much quicker on subsequent activations after it has run once for a given model.

As good as a paid asset

It works out of the box immediately and it's lightweight.
If you don't have to toggle the outline during gameplay, this asset is perfect.

Outline work great, but a big problem, there no view in editor. Thats sad, but for free asset this is great asset!

Works well but not with toggling

Easy and outline looks good, but not working when you need to toggle it on/off with code. Using outline.enabled to toggle it (as readme says to do), the outline loses all customized settings and resets back to default white and small width. Inspector in run-time still shows custom settings. Setting color and width in code before enabling it is not working either.
