This is one of those assets that actually does more than is advertised. The support is phenomenal from the asset's creator as well, but the bottom line here is that you can quickly set up a pretty nearly unlimited range of mouseover effects beyond the ones shown on the product page, using the visual scripting (Bolt) integration field in the asset. That means it's easy to set a mouseover to change an object's material/texture, or activate an object that exists as a 3d overlay, or activating an object to suddenly have an animated video texture on mouseover! You can even set mouseover in several layers as the mouse cursor approaches an item so that the colliders toggle one by one as you get really close, and then again on a mouse click. That allows for some really unique effects too. I can't post a visual example here in a review but search the forums, I'll be showing what I mean and how to do these things, on the asset's forum thread.

I've been using this off and on over the past few years, through various versions of Unity. I'm using URP on my current project, and it's causing MANY of my assets to be unusable, at least for now.
Fortunately, Mouse Interaction-Object Highlight is still rock-solid reliable as of Unity 2019.3.10 (URP). The documentation is clear and comprehensive, easy to understand, and the single demo level manages to illustrate most of the tool's functionality in a single amazing scene.
Well-done. I highly recommend the tool, and I'm eager to see what other products the dev may offer in the future!

Love the asset, keep getting a warning due to a future unused variable. Would be nice to add a pragma there like :
#pragma warning disable
private bool tooltipUpdate = false ; // <For future uses>
#pragma warning restore
I just don't like monkey patching the assets myself and thought i'd let you know :D

I'm running this on Unity 2019.1.14f1 with no issues whatsoever.
I'm going to make this a global selection tool on top of all my other controllers for vehicles and characters: It opens up so many possibilities for a game world.
Awesome asset and the Dev is quick to answer emails and help out.
