sorry, I fully appreciate the fact it's free, but some mention that it's only available for built-in could have saved me 20 mins of tinkering.

I recently went through a bit over an hour of implementation and tweaking to set up a mirror of my own for a Unity challenge. Then, to prove a point, I downloaded this free resource and it did everything I wanted right out of the box. If I charged my standard software rates, this asset is at least $60-80 cheaper than what I spent for my own effort. This is, of course, the "lite" version of the full asset, and it's enough to tempt me to buy the full version if I ever need a mirror.

Did exactly what advertised. Used it (after tweaking it a bit) to render a reflective surface by replacing one of its faces by the mirror without its frame.

Congrats to our good creative friend here, and excellent C# coding + amazing performance at runtime on multiple platforms, specially the fragile WEBGL. Mirror works and I used it for a building size edifice and performed admirably on WEBGL. Code is free of usual amateur C# obfuscations for most Unity Assets, which end up killing the asset's prospect for new Unity versions and ease of support. The code the way is designed is perfect to be modified for high reuse deployments, which the modifications took about an hour. Most praiseworthy is attention to details for the materials and textures involved and using them in correct manner as intended again for high reuse.

Cool asset, but cannot be used in VR or with URP, which severely limits its usage.

If you have issues with unity "the type or namespace name 'VR' does not exist" then double click the error and change using UnityEngine.VR; to using UnityEngine.XR; in the script
