Artistically very good, but for our 5 stars rating to come: the targeting system should be able to have assignable list of target tag strings (assignable in the inspector) but targeting is currently linked to a script in the package you have to attach to every desired object as a target, which is a big non-modular inconvenience. So the package need to mature further in this direction, and keep us updated guys - soon as becomes available. Great promising work, for our vote. That will be it - for our review part and suggestions, for what it counts.

the doc is a pdf that says look the demo scene...
the scene is one script that does all with way too many things....
there is no way to set the origin of the laser or to use it without this script....
not even the laser that looks good is a prefab by its own...
not whort a peny

looks cool but unusable without a ton of effort

The effects are great but the documentation doesn't exist and the code is extremely tightly coupled. Basically if you want to use this, open one of the demo scenes, drop everything under a root gameobject, and build your game around it.
Getting these assets included in an already existing project are not worth the effort required.

This package is quite poor. When I drag the prefab into my scene, there are no visuals of the laser and the sound effect just loop. I go to the demo scene to try to understand how to get the laser working and it is a complex mess. This is not a plug and play component.

Package does what it shows you. But it lacks docs and help. Getting it to work needs some deep Unity knowledge. And I'm still trying to figure how to change laser settings. You'll get what you paid for but nothing more.

Confusing, Complex, Inflexible, yet still worthwhile for expert developers

The shaders/materials etc. are of very high quality, the demos are very very useful.
However re-using the assets in a different manner is tedious and only for those with a good understanding of how these things work - which of course largely defeats the purpose of buying such an asset to begin with.
You could purchase this and quickly and easily adapt it's TD demo into a full game however. It really depends on what you want to do with it and how much time you are willing to spend on writing your own code and modifying it to make it work with your own game as to how valuable this asset it.

I like the demo and it is sure to spawn some game ideas , just one thing
I would like to attach these to a battleshp meaning the rotation of the turrent will vary while in game. if this could be brought in it would be great , I can change the rotation before I run but when i try to rotate turrets that track a target while in game they dont seem to be all that cooperative.

Yes, I've dealt with that problem before. You have to find the angle of the battleship, then get the offset from that for the turret rotation. It's a pretty complicated bit of code. If you want to email me... find my publisher email address, drop me an email, and I'll see what I can do for you.
